Those who have Restaurant Depot cards...what items do you always get?

Also, has anyone gotten their seaweed salad? How is it?

The one in the freezer? I've never tried it but I know they sell a good bit of it. I used to work the seafood department there. When I worked there, all their seafood was top notch. Pretty much all their meat, chicken, produce, etc is all top notch. They have some of the strictest policies and guidelines in place for all their fresh stuff.

yeah.

I love seaweed salad but it's so damn expensive at sushi restaurants. I was wondering if this would be a cheap alternative.

Check it out. You can buy just one tub at a time if you like. I think there was 3 or 4 tubs strapped together but you can break the strap and just buy one.

My family was in the seafood wholesale business for 30+ years and I couldn't believe how good some of the stuff was that they were throwing away according to their policies(trash it after a certain amount of days depending what type of seafood it is). I was the seafood manager over there for about 9 months when it first opened. But it really does allow for some really fresh stuff if the policy is being adhered to. It was the strictest guidelines I have ever seen in the food service business but that is a good thing if you are the customer.

I always buy fish and meat to smoke.

I always end up with stuff I don't need and wind up giving extra to my neighbors.

what Neauxla said. You will need a tax ID number or occupational license. Something that proves you have a business.

Any buisness, not just the food buisness.

My understanding while I was working there was that it could be any business.

Define "any" business please - are we talking any business whose title sounds like they may serve food, or literally any business at all?

For example, would "NaturalBeam, attorney at law" work?

Seems the post above answered my question - so how much does this membership run?

I have an appliance repair company and a HVAC company and I have a membership.

If you live in NOLA you need your NOLA tax ID.

I showed them a resalers permit and my Fed tax info.

Do you have to be the owner of the business or can I get my boss to give me the info and I walk in there and get it?
