Well, you've surpassed a record, Paul. Only 13 days in to the month, and you actually posted something useful.

I was at Jolie Pearl before Spanishtown and at the bar tv they have a live stream of their grill in the kitchen. It was the most ratchet shite i've seen in a while. Nasty arse grill on a 50" tv while I'm trying to enjoy a cocktail.

Not many options where you wish to be. If you like oysters, JP is a great choice.

Otherwise, BR has Uber. Use it and book a reservation at Kalurah Street Grill.

That's what i thought. Wife wanted to go there, but no dice on a reservation this Saturday. Back to the drawing board.

Digiulio Bros across the street could be fun. Gino's...get a table in the bar and make a night of it.

Pinetta's is another good spot in that neighborhood. We really do have some great Italian food in BR.

Capital city grill...
It's a shame that baton rouge does not have more and better local resturants downtown...
