Stem a lb. Soak in a bottle of red wine for an hour.

Drain, enjoy berries.

Core them and fill them with bleu cheese and crispy bacon. Roast briefly.

Here's Mom's recipe as promised, including her conversion measures for using resized box of Jello (she converts all her dessert recipes every time the manufacturers change quantity)

And this is why my son wants me to put together a cookbook for him, written by hand.

Quick and easy recipe is strawberry-nutella tortila pizzas.

Butter up some tortillas, sprinkle sugar on buttered tortillas (cinnamon if you want). Put in 450 oven (I air fry) until desired level of doneness (I prefer about 10-15 minutes.

Remove from oven. Scoop as much nutella as your hearts content onto the tortilla being careful not to break them. Then add macerated strawberries as a topping.

Top with powdered sugar and cool whip!

Thanks! Maybe I should’ve chosen strawberries as our next challenge ingredient.

You'll just have to win again

Highly improbable. I’m okay with one!

What Mom left off, and she was inconveniently reminded of yesterday. That amount is for 2, 9" inch pies. (implied multiple pies at end of recipes by "pour into crusts", plural. Should be specified as I won't remember in 20 years)

What we have now is 1, 10" and leftover filling.

Guess we'll just have to either use as an ice cream topping, or eat it without crust, or deconstructed style with some crust bits on top. The Horror!

I like to use the shortcake biscuit recipe from Donald Link’s strawberry shortcake, but top with my grandma’s strawberry pie filling and fresh whipped cream instead of what he suggests. The biscuits have a nice texture and don’t get soggy compared to other strawberry shortcakes that I’ve had.

I’ll also use the same pie filling to top cheesecakes.

Or maybe do an all strawberry fruit pizza.

All of that looks delicious. You reminded me that over Easter someone made strawberries stuffed with cheesecake filling and dipped in chocolate. They were extremely tasty.
