I was going to boil up some red potatoes that been sitting in my veggie drawer for a while. I have a gallon of zats crab boil. Curious if anyone has any ideas where I can whip up a side dish.

Maybe some type of mashed potatoes out of them? Potatoes salad?

Do all the usually fixing from a crawfish boil (the potatoes, corn, sausage primarily) and make a soup. Probably my favorite thing to do with all that leftover shite. You’d need a pack of frozen tails, but cut the corn and dice the sausage and make a typical potato soup from the taters and add the rest back in. It’s pretty delicious.

Look up the video on u-tube called "After The Boil Soup" by Cajun Ninja. I've made it now a couple of times and it is some of the best stuff when using leftovers from a seafood boil.

Look up crash hot potatoes. It's a Ree Drummond recipe (Pioneer Woman) borrowed from an Australian food writer, but it's dang delicious.

I’ve done the crash hot potatoes and roasted potatoes that I boiled in a little liquid crab boil first. Delicious!

Saint asked if he could post here. He’s been given permission and it’s a legitimate question (for him.)

Pour the crab boil on some fire ant mounds. Google German potato salad.

I bet if you did the crash hot potatoes but sprinkled a little bacon and cheddar, then put them back in the oven, it would be memorable.

I am assuming you can remember things.
