What is the size and capacity? Anyone ever rent it out who can share details of the process/experience?

Are any of the FDB posters going Sunday? I'll be there collecting my admin check.

Been to many parties up there and threw one myself

They provide bartender, food (meh), DJ, big screen. Private bathroom, balcony access. It’s been years but the price was reasonable

I mean, it’s Lucy’s. Fine for a bday or corporate event. Casual. Gets the job done

I've been to a few events up there that had less than 250 and it felt pretty crowded. I remember the food being good for a reception type of event.

OP, are you just curious about Sunday night or are you looking to rent for another time?

We enjoy the upstairs, its a lot nicer than the downstairs. We had an event there recently for 100 people. I would guess you could do around 150 comfortably. They were super easy to work with. It came out to around $80/head for open bar and food etc. Food is meh but to be expected.

Exactly. I am not going there looking for fine dining.

For another option nearby, Ernst has an upstairs party room.

The Chickory place does a great job, but probably a decent jump in price.

Just my opinion but Lucy's is kinda of a dump and the food is average on a good day.

I don't have to eat everywhere I go.

I wouldn't set foot in Lucy's on a slow day, much less during a Championship weekend. EFF THAT.

College alumni group hosted an event there for local HS grads attending the school and their families, as a late summer send off event. It was well done by Lucy's and fun, but the college admin complained we were having a HS grad event at a bar. They obviously did not understand New Orleans.

Call TulaneLSU and request a formal review prior to booming the venue.

I'm sure he can make an exception for Otis, his biggest fan.
