Looking to buy some to boil and make pickled eggs.

No idea sorry, question though, do quails lay eggs all year like chickens I guess? I didn't realize many birds outside of chickens did this.

Most quickstops in NeLa have them already pickled. Try the Miss. Farm Bulletin for a fresh egg supplier.

I think Asian markets sometimes have them.

You can buy them already boiled an canned from most any Asian mart, or you can order them online, that's what I do.

Nice....thanks!
How do they taste? What are you specifically doing with them?

I get them at the local Chinese grocery here in Atlanta.

Asian market is the correct answer

I know Restaurant Depot had them a while back. I might be going there in the next couple of days. I;ll check.
Sometimes you can find them on Craigslist. Not sure if they are fertilized or not. You might check your locality on CL.

They taste great to me, the yolks are really creamy.
I use Trappeys hot vinegar, hot banana pepper vinegar and jalapeño vinegar.
I put garlic, onions, black peppercorns and hot banana pepper slices in the jar with them.
A hot banana pepper slice and two eggs is a great bite to me.

Restaurant Depot or check Craigslist for local breeders

Just guessing, but probably similar to a chicken, one a day when the days are long and less so when the days are short?

As people have said, Asian groceries.

This is correct. I used to raise quail. Pickled many of my own jars. I no longer do this, but I know a few people who still do. I know a big supplier for many of the jars you'll see around acadiana gas stations/farmers markets.

I have seen them at Fresh Market in Jackson.

I made pickled quail eggs a few times. At first I ordered them from this place LINK and got them a day or two later. If you do make an order get some quail poppers you won't be disappointed.
Another source for me, I was at a local hardware store and noticed some homemade pickled quail eggs on the counter. According to the label address they were only 20 miles from me. I called them and asked if I could buy small quantities of fresh eggs and they agreed.
