I would never have spent the money for it. The Parents cooked it up for me.

It was very good.

Problem is I had a mess of onions for lunch so I am not sure if I stayed below 20 grams.

I think I might get some of those keto stix just so I now when I am in and out.

Hulk I'm not sure how big the keto things are that you bought but cut em in half and you have double the amount.

Smalles they had was 50. And you have to pee on one little spot so you can't cut em in half.

I'm interested to try some out. This go around I don't seem to have the normal side effects but I know I am under 20 grams so I would like the sticks to tell me fer sure.

That's why I bought them. I noticed my breath is a little funny but nobody has complained about it and my urine doesn't smell weird, so I was like .... I sure do hope I'm doing this right. I figured I was but the peace of mind KNOWING that I am doing it right (besides the weight melting off of me) I can say helped me a lot in my confidence in what I'm doing.

I feel super bloated this morning, I think I had too much sodium yesterday. I tried putting pepperoni in my salad and had it as a snack, but there's a lot of salt in it. Also, my dad gave me some deer sausage and the curing salt makes it very salty.

Still 351.. lost .2 lol

What are the 3 #'s you guys are listing? Is it starting weight/current weight/goal weight? If so, it would be interesting to add a fourth # stating how long since the starting weight.

That's probably the best way to state it. Keeping up with # of days would get tough.

Slight uptick after the giant ribeye but it was worth every bite.

I'm kind of worried, the book says I shouldn't be so hungry, and I'm usually not, but man I'm starving today. I'll have to use another test strip when I get home.. I need to watch my carbs more closely

Hunger happens. Especially early on. You are still in the early stages Hulk. Your body and brain still want the 3500+ calories you were eating before.

Make sure you have some approved snacks if that hunger gets out of control.

Hell, chug some water, I do that all the time. Hunger will pass. I fasted 3 days in January and Cad had a fast a few weeks ago. Hunger will go away after a bit. Best to distract yourself with a pleasant activity or the Xbox can help pretty good to distract you when hungry.

Yeah I know. This is the first time since starting that I've been this hungry. Except for the 17-hour escapade

I'm at work so no xbox :( I've been drinking water all day. And truth be told I haven't been counting my carbs, I just know that my vitamins and fiber supplement are 5g of carbs/day, and the 2 salads with meals mean I really don't have any carbs left to eat. That's how I've been at it but maybe I should watch more closely.

Being in induction doesn't mean you will never be hungry.

But as I said, your brain and body are pissed that they aren't getting the 3500+ cals they are used too.

It will pass.

Good luck and keep up the GREAT work.

its tough to stay under 20 for sure. but 'free' foods like shrimp, ham (its a good thing its loaded with salt..then you're more likely to drink more water), HARD cheese (stay far away from processed cheese and soft cheese..those carbs add up fast), pork rinds (for that crunch you're probably missing from potato chips) and you'll be ok

i realize a massive sodium intake isnt good, but when you finally flush all that water out of your system you'll see a 3-4lb drop overnight and thats damn motivating.

grilled chicken breast and a salad.. mmm mmm hit the spot!

I brought my george foreman grill to work and put it in the breakroom, so next time I go shopping I'm going to keep food at home and at work. This business of bringing my food to work every day is oging to get old, quick

I actually saved a piece of my ribeye with onions to have today. Man that was so good.

I held off on my b-day lunch with my dad. I told him to take me in April and I already know it will be fajitas at Casa Garcia. Gives me something to shoot for.
