Dealer of peace. That is I! Take the neutral ground and stop arguing over petty things!

I should have a ban hammer emoticon!

Ban banner? close enough..

Can't we all just get along?!

Yes.. and I struggled mightily to not drink haha. I endured a wedding rehearsal dinner, bachelor party, and wedding reception without touching booze. I faked out my friends at the bachelor party, I just poured a little bit of whiskey on rocks and acted like I was sipping it. By the time they realized they were hammered and didn't care anymore.

i feel for you in the booze department .. that is a tough adjustment to make ... i'd imagine that is going to be the bigger challenge to adjust to than the food ..

That really was a great weekend that you walked through all of those minefields unscathed.

When I'm at home, I can't keep an eagle eye watch on this place, but at work I have nothing better to do so:

oh and on the atkins front..i get it rag and i get it myth.

this, for a variety of reasons..is a very polarizing way to lose weight. it elicits very strong reactions both pro and con. this is why i told hulk to just keep it on the down-low until he'd lost a bit. its not worth the cat fight :glares at myth and rag:

dont be afraid. seriously..you're not really doing all the much to help yourself eating that turkey crap.

have u seen the water-content link i posted in other threads?

LINK

check that out. its an eye-opening way to look at that 1lb steak you're about to eat:

quote:

People eat meat for the muscle. The muscle is approximately 75% water (although different cuts may have more or less water) and 20% protein, with the remaining 5% representing a combination of fat, carbohydrate, and minerals.

you get that ragh?? *LESS* than 5% of that 1lb steak is fat.

I'm purrring like a cat after demolishing a giant birthday ribeye with onions and shrums.

The scale may laugh tomorrow but it was worth it tonight. I might have bumped myself out of ketosis with all the onions I had today from lunch to dinner.

Sounds so good.. I want to reward myself for not caving this weekend but not enough cash to buy a ribeye T_T plus I'm probably going on a date this weekend and I can take her to a steak house and reward myself doubly :D
