Madam pick you up a box of quest bars for your trip. Great for low carb dieters. They are pretty much all natural. Most of the flavors don't even contain sugar alcohols like most low carb bars do which can kick you out of ketosis . They average 200 calories, ten grams of fat and twenty grams of protein. They are listed as 20-24 carbs but have average a whopping 17-18 grams of fiber. They are basically the perfect protein bar for a low carb diet . Lots of great flavors as well. Pop one in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and they are really good.

The thousands of people who have lost/kept off weight using a ketogenic diet disagree with you.

where do you get these quest bars? I brought the stuff for smoothies in the condo along with eggs for breakfast and salads for lunch. I have had a few small things that I don't normally eat (like a donut ) but I really don't miss them. A little taste cures my desire for it and it was so sweet. Wow! I wanted to have a few planned cheats but I really am not wanting them. I am craving the good food. Cooked roast with carrots and potatoes that I don't normally eat so my cheat was starchy veggies. I think I will be ok. My husband is bloated from over eating and I am fine because salad does not bloat you.

You think he invented the ketogenic diet or something? Or do you just believe that it doesn't matter how many calories you eat as long as you don't eat carbs?

Quest bars are most easily found online or at GNC

I love Quest Bars. And they're protein peanut butter cups
I buy mine at Planet Nutrition in Lafayette. I'm sure GNC or some other "supplement" stores will carry them. If not then there is always Amazon.

The Rails....

The telescope required to find the rails after I have gone so far off the rails I can't find my way back.

I've allowed job and health stress to absolutely destroy me the last 2 weeks. Said, stress isn't going away anytime soon, but I need to hit the damn brakes on the stress eating.

Had a good day yesterday. Baby steps.

Someone talk to me about "stress eating". I've never, or I don't think I've ever, actually done this. Ever since high school I've found the best stress reliever is to go to the gym or go for a run. Do you just pick up a thing of ice cream and don't put it down? Always been curious when I hear or read someone talk about this.
