Mexican food and ice cream sent my weight soaring. I'm not even going to post it because I know a pile of that gain is water and it will be gone tomorrow.

2.5 gain for my July 4th semi-blowout. Took the folks and kids to lunch ystdy at papadeaux. Fried calamari, soft shell crabs but the kicker came when I ate the rest of my sons shrimp po-boy. He wasn't that hungry so it was almost a whole one. I did skip dessert but had some yogurt when I got home. No cheat weekend for sure!!!

Haven't been going crazy with the food. Yet. I finished a boston butt earlier and the pulled pork is calling out to me....... Stupid thing was the smallest one I ever cooked and it took me 14 freakin hours.

A question for my Atkins brethren. When on induction, or any Phase for that matter, do you supplement your fiber at all? Or do you just eat a shite ton of greens?

I always eat a lot of greens, but psyllum (sp?) husks are a great source of fiber. I got backed up once but your body adjusts. I eat a lot of spinach and broccoli, though.

I just have a hard time eating all the damn greens. I can eat all the meat, just not the ruffage.

Better learn to eat your veggies! I try to have 2 servings of veggies with each meal except breakfast, and often have veggies for snacks.

I can eat certain veggies, I just have a hard time imagining eating 2 serving of vegetables per meal.

I love it. But I love veggies. Right now squash, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers are all in season and fresh ones can be found all over the place. I'm loving it. Today for dinner I chunked up some chicken thigh filets and cut up some broccoli, baby carrots, one whole squash, and one whole zucchini and made a stir fry. So good.

That's a damn good dinner Hulkk. I'll do that sometimes but just have it as a salad with homemade olive oil vinagrette. Add a few olives and feta mmmmm

great 4th. i smoked a brisket & 2 butts and the gf made an amazing caprese salad.

I left 250lbs behind for the first time in 8 years. It feels great. I haven't had any milk products in 3 months and decided to have 3 spoonfuls of homemade ice cream on the fourth. My stomach hated me for a day.
