Anyone live around Old Jefferson that would be interested in running around 5 in the morning? Looking to run anywhere from 2-4 miles a run maybe 3-4 times a week.

I live in Old Jefferson and would def be interested. Where were you looking to run at?

Looking around the area, there are not a whole bunch of great areas to run. However in the neighborhood High Point and the neighborhood that connects with it is a ~ 2 mile loop. I am open to any suggestions you have.

Back to the diet today. Coffee and water until dinner tonight. Let's do this

I'm in Houston for a conference, wanted to run 2 miles, got lost and ended up running 4 miles. I hope that took off the four pounds I gained this weekend

Rats! I think all the water is gone. I didn't make 90 trips down the hallway today. I still think I might have dropped a bit but the remaining 10 pounds is ALL FAT!

It is going to be a tough month to get rid of ALL of that weight.

question guys,

so i'm shipping out for navy basic training tuesday. i've lose 10 more lbs since the first week of april, but according to a measuring tape, i've gained 3 inches in my waist. i've been taking prescription fluid pills, hit the sauna, bought a sauna suit, etc. and i've been doing that for the last 2 days.

i did have a bit of a bowel issue so i was drinking magnesium citrate like water for about a week or so so i'm thinking that maybe i've been retaining a shite ton of water.

any ideas?

No idea. Have you been working out. It could be muscle. Otherwise not sure how you lost a lot of weight but had a tape gain.

If you're going to Basic, i think concerns about weight loss are premature. They'll have you in shape in no time

it's more about being allowed to go to basic than getting in shape there. ftr, i'm 27, 5'7, 200 lbs. i started at 315 in june. i have a ton of gross loose skin on my stomach so that's not helping my tape situation.

IPGT, I'm sorry for the sarcasm. It's kinda what I do. why the tape grew 3 inches I don't know. You're doing so many different things there must some hidden counteraction.

losing 115 in 10 months is damn impressive.

Fasted yesterday until dinner then ate a 16 oz ribeye I grilled. God it was so good, and I ended up still losing!

Back below my first goal of 225 from the weekend. Now it's time to see how much more it will drop without any cheats for the next 10 days. 17 days to the 5K I signed up for.
Running plan for the next few days:
5-2-12 - Speed work = 1.75 miles
5-3-12 - Pace Run = 3.0 miles
5-4-12 - Short jog = 1.5 miles
5-5-12 - Rest
5-6-12 - Long run = 4.0 miles (1st run around the lsu lakes)

Any runners out there? Let me know what you think of this plan. Goal is to run a 24-28 min 5K. Last 3 mile run was 28:45.

The office lunch was baked chicken and hamburger steak. I had some chicken and some steak. Skipped the mashed tators and the rice and gravy.

Calorie wise, I did fine but the salt might bump me up. The hamburger steak was SUPER SALTY.

Just remembered another upcoming speedbump. The office crawfish boil is Memorial Day weekend.
