Not as much came off of my gut as I would have hoped. I can tell in my face and my hands and wrists look skinny as hell. The next 30 should be more noticable in my midsection

Today was my first Fri weigh-in.

222.6

down from 231 on 10/1/10

weighed in this AM and weighed exactly the same.

222.6

oh well, its better than gaining. I put in good work this week, but last weekend kind of hurt me with a city fair, po boy fest, etc.

LesterEarl: I went for weeks without a loss. As long as you aren't gaining, I wouldn't worry about it. I finally got the scale to move downward by eating less at dinner, working out, & saying no to offers to go out to eat at lunch.

I'm about where I was on Sunday which isn't bad since I went out to dinner twice this week with my college roommate and I didn't eat the healthiest things on the menu.

Congrats!

Looks like you and I are neck and neck. 257/226 here. But I started at the end of August. I also have about 51 more to go. But my target end date is not until May '11. This is a marathon for me not a sprint.

All week I have had a tough time getting motivated to do my normal exercises.

As I type I am procrastinating on my daily two mile walk.

Off I go.

As of today, I am 22 pounds away from my goal weight. For me, it is also a marathon. I don't know when I'll reach my goal, but I am going to keep at it until then and even after that. Hope everyone has a good week.

good luck to everyone.

the average thanksgiving/holiday season weight gain is 2-3 pounds. doesn't sound like much, but most people never take it back off. so just don't be the person who lives with it forever!!!

i'm still doing my 12 weeks of circuits. i think its really helping. i might weigh today. after 3 months with no big change, i'm hoping to chip a dent in the scale.

Hello everyone, I am back. Last week was not a very good week. My grandmother passed away last Sunday, so I drove from OKC to NO for the services and then back. No calorie counting or exercises but I did make sure I did portion control and did not gorge myself with all the comfort food that was around.

I was excited to see that I still lost. This morning 218.8/232.4. I am almost at 3 lbs per week loss. Due to driving in for the services I will be staying in OKC for the Thanksgiving, so I will be forgoiing the overeating.

Sorry about your grandmother.

323/234.3

Last week was not good for me. My old roommate in town plus lack of motivation made for a poor week.

I need to behave this week. I had planned on eating what I wanted for T-Giving, but with the bad week last week, I think I am going to try to be extra good on Thursday.

Was your old roommate impressed when he saw how much weight you had lost?

Sorry about your grandmother. You must not be an emotional eater. I know that is a big battle for some.

I use to eat out of boredom. Being on the road for most of the trip and running to pick people up at airports, plus services, there really wasn't a lot of time to eat.

Thanks everyone for the condolences.

He noticed that I had dropped some weight but I am actually currently around my weight from freshman year of college so I really haven't dropped much since last time I saw him.

Heck, my best friend who I see about twice a month hadn't noticed my weight loss. I told him for a doctor he had pretty crappy observational skills.

I'd love to be at my freshman year weight (when I thought I was so fat!) Little did I know.
