I've been following this thread on and off since it began! Tried to lose a few lbs in oct. 2010 for my sisters wedding...then gained the few I lost back ASAP.

I moved to Ruston in June to work on a masters at LaTech and thought it would be the perfect time for me to re-commit. No distractions/social life to hinder me.

147/133.2/127 (22 yo female, original goal was 132 but now that i'm almost there i feel i can go a few more)

I've really used some advice from this thread. Particularly the info on HIIT. I do a version of it on the elliptical. I do low carb... try to stay around 50g max per day. I think the low carb plus 5-6 days/week of HIIT really melts off my lbs. I would have reached my goal sooner if it were not for a month spent back in south LA in August.

Myth- you are quite the inspiration!
CT- its been nice to have the commentary of a female in this thread and I wish I would have had a cruise to look forward to at the end of this!

Thanks!

Lately, I've been meandering up and down and up and up and up and down.

Getting the hang of carb eating and controlling my hunger has been a real pain in the arse.

It was actually easier losing weight than keeping it off.

Thank you. And you could have a cruise -- there are weekend cruises available to Bahamas that are pretty cheap. That would be fun.

Hey, I got a master's in some subject or something at 24. You should be impressed by that and then have to keep yourself from hitting on me.

If I was a chick, I'd be one whose goal weight is 190, so keep that in mind.

To hell with it. I've seen some 190 chicks that are still really pretty. Just kinda chubby... which I can deal with! Beggars can't be choosers, G.

Just in time for the weekend football parties

I'll consider it a win if I make it through football season without gaining.

200/187/170

Pretty much been off the dietfor several months, but been maintaining so I got that going for me. Serious lack of motivation,

I had a pretty guilt free weekend last week

Only one drink. Had some bud's broiler Sat night but other than that I was good

I'm shooting for losing 2 lbs over the weekend

I'm about to toss in the towel on the carb lifestyle.

1400 calories, 10 mile ride and I gain 1.5

It is just a real pain in the arse managing sodium intake on carbs.

I've got 5 days of food left. If I'm not back under 170 when that runs out, I am breaking out The Atkins Master Plan for weight conquest.
