It does not bode well that there was no Weekend Report With Lloyd Braun and the rest of the gang seems to be in hiding.

I did great on Friday and Saturday but I woke up at 4am and I have already had about 12 meals.

Yesterday, I hung out at CT's fav couple's house to watch some football and my friend made some awesome bread pudding and taco soup. I only had a bowl of each (which was tough). I woke up this morning expecting to be close to 220 and the scale showed I was at 213. Not sure how that happened.

I hope it doesn't have anything to do with that fact that I bought a $9 scale.

The Gmorgan4982 Scale Fund is still open and the Gmorgan4982 Scale Fund Team is standing by to take your donations.

Sodium can really cause massive swings in weight. For most of my diet I was around 1200 mgs a day but now that I haven't been paying to much attention to it, I can fluctuate 3 pounds or more on a given bad sodium day.

I drink about four 32 ounce cups of water a day which is 8 pounds so high sodium can cause my body to hang on to some of that water weight.

I drink a lot of water as well. I don't really count sodium maybe as much as I should. I try to avoid it some days but some days I don't really do a good job of avoiding it.

I don't drink enough water or anything really. I need to, but I don't like drinking that much. I drink when I'm thirsty and I don't get thirsty that often..

Cooler weather should make the running easier.

I dropped from 4 to 5 rides a week to 2 but now that the weather is cooler I am up to 4 again.

Allright--I'll join in the fun.

I hurt my back (three herniated discs) and so my doc told me to lose some MF'in weight to help with the rehab. I'm 6"4 and I was 235.

I've been using loseit.com to track my weight and unfortunately because of my back I can't really work out right now. Checked in this morning at 218.6 and my goal is 200.

235/218.6/200

Hope to be 200 by Xmas.

Welcome to the board.

Don't worry about exercise. You can lose that amount with diet alone.Good luck.

Hey Hulk. I've been on this diet for so long I forget some of the things I did early on. I wasn't a big fan of drinking water so I made all of my meals hotter than hell with red pepper to induce water drinking.

Now, I am programmed to drink a ton everyday and I have an immunity to red pepper.

Oh

323/172.2/165

I have no idea how I lost weight because I ate everything that wasn't nailed down yesterday.

Massive amount of sodium too, so based on that, a lot of the water I drink today will stick so tomorrow will be an up day unless I get out there and ride my arse off on the levee.

Yup. Bad two weeks. I agree with the carb and sodium thing. Since I started running I have switched to more carbs and have hung onto and even gained slightly. Really honing in on a new diet though that basically gets no more that 5% of protein from animals; the rest comes from plant based stuff. Not adopting a vegetarian/ vegan lifestyle or something like it because of a moral highground, I just want to try something like it to see how it helps weight loss a how I feel.

Drink some damn water, Hulk.

Went back to Atkins after my cruise. However, am going to eat dungeness crab in Biloxi tomorrow. I'm thinking some carbs are going to sneak onto my plate.

I ate a couple of bowls of things that I probably shouldn't have eaten but, according to my $9 scale, it hasn't hurt me any. I was down to 211 when I checked it an hour or so ago. It seems I fluctuate on weight a lot. I wonder if that has something to do with water weight/sodium. I'm not really an expert on how that effects weight change/causes fluctuations.

Actually, I would treat you to one of those fabulous dinners if you'd drive over to Biloxi.
