Been doing the Smoothie King Gladiator mix 2 times a day and eating low Carb for lunch. Seems to be working pretty good so far. Lots of liquids flushing thru

I know everyone here is just trying to help. I'm just trying to find out on my own what's the best way for me.

Lester is going to have a field day with you on high carbs. Bad idea in my opinion.

i dont eat an insane amount of carbs.

as far as hogan i dont think he is as educated as he believes. There is no way someone his size shouldnt lose weight by counting calories and exercising. Either he isnt being honest on here or he simply is clueless as to what he is doing day to day. Just my opinion. Sorry if its to raw.

I have been keeping a food and exercise log and following it.

I am going to buy a bike today. I lost 19 lbs in the first 12 days of induction, but have been stalled out at same weight since friday. Besides exercise, what else can i do to kick the weight loss back in gear? I havent changed anything about my diet. Monday will make 3 weeks of induction. TIA.

There is an eb and flow to weight loss. You are going to hit plateaus and in most cases doing something new probably won't speed up the loss.

Oh I forgot, we call them non-plateaus on the board.

Just keep doing what you are doing but the rate of 19 pounds in 12 days is not sustainable. At some point you will be lucky to drop a pound or two a week even if you are doing everything perfectly.

Good luck and congrats on the weight loss.

323/172.9/165

I've almost dropped last weekends massive gain. My step-dad weighed 170 this morning so his lead in the race to 165 has diminished.

A lot of people stall in the latter part of induction and especially if you stay in induction, week 3 and 4 a lot of people stall. It's called P.I.S.S by some people (and I'm being serious here), Post-Induction Stall Syndrome. Just keep plugging away and it'll come off

I have not been doing well the past few weeks. When I eat bad my health suffers as well as my weight (diabetes and asthma from food allergies). I am back at 220/218/150. My friend is doing myfitnesspal so she talked me into signing up so starting today I will be tracking.

Logan- hypoglycemia is a precursor to diabetes and can surely make it harder to lose when you eat carbs. Keep trying but that may be your problem. When I eat carbs my blood sugar is all over the place and it makes me exhausted.

That's what's happening to me. I eat breakfast and feel fine until about 2 hours later, then I can feel my blood sugar start to plummet and I feel tired.. then I eat a snack at 10:30 and feel okay until about 12, then I feel like crap again until I eat lunch at around 1, then around 2:30 I start feeling like crap again, then I eat a snack at 3 and feel okay until about 4:30.. then I get home and eat and feel okay until about 7, then I snack and feel okay until about 9, then I go to bed at around 10:30 feeling like shite because my blood sugar is low.

I never did on Atkins but when your blood sugar is low you feel like shite, all I can think about is getting the fix so I feel okay when it's low.

in fact it's happenign right now. I get cold sweats, shaky, exhausted.. feel like I got run over

Hulk, sounds like an obvious answer to me. If the carbs make you feel that bad, get your arse back on Atkins. Most diets work when done correctly, but that doesn't mean that every diet works for every person.

With all of the snacking you mentioned, it would be really hard for me to keep up with everything.

I'm pulling for you.
