FINALLY 363/316/250

I still don't think I was eating too many cals, but I must have been eating too many carbs... I'm going through the same things I went through when I first started Atkins.. when you first get into ketosis.

Total of 47 pounds

Hell yeah!!! Carbs are evil!
(Not talking to you, Lester). Stay in strict induction for as long as you can, Hulk.

Still at 220/213/150. I am still eating a few too many carbs because it is fresh fruit and veggie season and I like all of my meats with cheese or tomatoes. Getting back in the gym next week. We have not been in an entire month since vacation. Glad to see everyone is doing well and still losing. I have a class reunion coming up so hopefully that will motivate me.

Yeah I want to stay in induction til I'm under 300 at minimum. As long as I'm losing fast I may stay in it. I'll basically stay in it until I'm absolutely tired of eating the same things every day.

Thanks guys for having faith in me and for the advice. I used to always do the same thing to my parents, resist the whole way but eventually give in.. then it turns out to be good, sound advice

Great job Hulk!

Mystery bounce up today. Stinker.

Hoping to hit the 150 lost mark before I gain some on the 4th.

You just couldn't stand that I had passed you, huh? I believe I felt the breeze as you blew back by me. Good job Hulk.

Maybe i shouldn't have put the cheers emoticon. No more beer on Atkins.

Just got back from the doctor. I've had some dizziness lately, and the doctor thinks that the combination of weight loss and my blood pressure meds are pushing my blood pressure too low.

She prescribed two things:
1. stop taking the blood pressure meds
2. no exercise until I go back on July 27th for follow-up

No more blood pressure meds and a doctor's excuse to avoid exercise. Dr.'s visits don't get much better than that.

I am so darn jealous and congratulations. I was hoping my weight loss and biking would drop my blood pressure but that has not happened. I am sure you are thrilled to death. I know I would be.

Not to mention a doctor's excuse not to work out.

Be sure to keep monitoring that pressure as the meds disappear.

oh i forgot to post my morning weigh-in

257/190/175

i hit 190 on april 30 so it kinda sucks..bounced around in mid 190s (of course i had a pretty busy may & early june) but it feels good to be at my low again..this is the FOURTH time i've hit 190 but it should stick. i'm looking for 189 by morning in time to go into the july 4 weekend ridiculousness.

i'm sitting at 67 pounds right now..i jsut freaking need 3lbs more to have lost an even 70

The version my wife hears will likely be something like this:

The doctor told me not to exert myself. In fact, she said you should probably do the yard work this month. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, 'cause it's hot as hell out there. By the way, can you bring me a snack? I don't want to over-exert getting off the couch.

I need to go see my Dr and see if I can get my BP cut down again.

After hitting a low of 183 a couple of weeks ago, I've been bouncing around 184.5-185 for a couple of weeks. After the 4th I'm going to get serious and lose as much weight as possible by vacation August 19.

Still feels awesome to see less than 320. I was being teased by my lowest being 320 for so long
