No idea but make sure you don't get a stupid scale that records the weight from the previous day and won't show you a new weight unless there is a large difference between the two days.
Cad and I both have a stupid scale like that so we both have to weigh our leg each morning, then step on the scale.
You will want a digital scale but just read the reviews online for the scale to make sure it doesn't record the weight in the memory.

ok what is best scale to buy and use?
Consumer Reports rated the Taylor 7506 as the best scale they tested in February 2010. They rated it as excellent in both accuracy and consistency. It was also one of the least expensive scales they tested. I'm not sure if it remembers your weight, but as Myth has learned, there are ways around that.
Amazon has it for $22.95.

Just ordered this Monday. I have had it with the step on scales, they get more inaccurate as they age, the one we have now, step on it 4 times and do an average. When I figure how many bathroom scales I have gone thru, I could of bought one of these by now. Should arrive Tuesday, will let yall know if I did good or not. Will probably have to restate my start/ current and goal numbers once I see how far off my current set is compared to a calibratable quality scale.

That's the scale I use. Good old-fashioned Dr. office scale. Weighs in quarter pound increments. Lifetime investment and can pass it down through generations.

wednesday night criterium! guy pulled in front of me and prompty crashed..i actually rode over his bike and HIM (i was going close to 30mph at the time) and somehow didn't crash. i was too in shock to finish the race..didnt even realize i was only about 50 feet from teh finish. by the time i realized it probably 20 people had gone by.
still fun. they run these every wednesday this summer so there's always next time..

Dang, CAD! That's interesting. Hope the guy was okay -- I'm sure his ego was bruised because Barbie mowed him down.
Here's to next Wednesday.
Be careful in the heat . . .

Had low carb protein shake after. Going to try and rotate this mondays n wed's and do kickboxing tues n thurs.

he actually apologized to ME for getting in my line..poor guy. i told him not to apologize..he was the one getting all the peroxide and bandages..i just had to deal with my heart jumping out of my chest when he went down hard in front of me.

The workout I did tonight is mild compared to the kickboxing and the crossfit guy is aware that I am useing it to more or less warm up inbetween heavy workouts in axdition to strengthening the shoulder. Friday nights I will still do my special offday workout.
Posted on 6/1/11 at 8:04 pm to CAD703X
Yeah. It's not like you could jump over him. Hate that split second decision making.
Posted on 6/1/11 at 8:05 pm to Carolinacajun
That shoulder probably wouldn't be hurting if you'd stop beating up young punks.

Posted on 6/1/11 at 8:08 pm to ChenierauTigre
I didn't beat him up, I just entered him in the stepson toss compitition.
Posted on 6/1/11 at 8:11 pm to Carolinacajun
Well, maybe you shouldn't have tossed him. Should have just gone straight to pummelling.
Posted on 6/1/11 at 8:17 pm to ChenierauTigre
I have a feeling it's good that actually handled it mildly. Maybe the judge might have seen it differently. At any rate, see the pic of Kim in my sig pic. Above her and slightly to the right is pic of stepson.

Awwwww, Hulk. I'm sorry. Try not to get discouraged like me. Hang in there -- you know you can do it.
