Hell yeah! This thread is going on for a long, long time. I have at least 100 pounds left to lose

We have a condo so eggs and bacon every morning. Lunch has been sandwiches for the family and salad with meat and cheese for me. Dinner has been roast, fajitas, tacos and ribeyes. I ate the Mexican on salad not tortillas. Drive here we had Memphis barbeque. So all in all not to bad. Staying low Carb for sure. A few nuts here and there for snacks.

careful with that bbq! The sauces can be loaded with carbs, and if they marinade that's a possibility as well.
But you sound like you've done a good job.

From here on out, if anyone comes on here asking questions on diet, they should be referred back to the internet for their answers. If not, we end up with civil war on this board and nobody supporting one another or cheering each other on.
All I know is that if I eat a lot of carbs, I produce enough methane in a day to float a hot air balloon. So for me, that process is telling me something. Since I have been on low carb I have not had any gas at all and I am not hungry. BUT THAT IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE, AND I COULD BE WRONG.

That's your own personal experience, everyone has different experiences.
CT farting all day. There's something funny to think about

Well low carb can lead to the reverse which can be a bit unpleasant.

Or just make sure every answer involves your flatulence and that should take care of it

Just for some added excitement, I am thinking of posting before after shots tomorrow. Something to look forward to for Friday.

Cad constantly posts articles and data which Lester refuses to read
Dude, pump the breaks. I do not have to read his studies.
EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING he says revolves around the Atkins diet.
In that context, the things he says are healthy and beneficial are OK to eat.
In my normal, balanced diet, it is not.
In these discussions, I can adapt. You guys have not shown that trait whatsoever. By you taking CAD's side, you clearly are in the same boat as he is. That's not an insult, you just are used to something, it is hard to break that train of thought.
I understand everything CAD has posted. He, for some reason, likes to argue about in ATkins terms.
I called him out on the loaded potato thing. Of course he didn't answer, all he said was "dont eat the potato, just eat spoonful of sour cream" like a smart arse. That alone speaks volumes of what I am trying to say. It's just stupid.
I dont need to post anything to refute what he is saying. BECAUSE I AGREE WITH HIM. That stuff is fine on Atkins. It is not so good on a balanced diet.

Hulk doesn't post data you and Lester attack him for not showing the studies.
to be frank, based on reading some of the stuff Hulk says, half of the stuff he says is totally off base. Forgive me for asking for some backup.
Lifelong nutritionists like Mackie Shilstone and Robert Pritkin have told me it is OK to eat a baked potato with dinner. Im sorry if i call bullshite when someone who read Wikipedia for 2 months claims other wise.

My only thing is nutritionists are trained to think that carbs are okay. In the current way of eating and thinking, then they are right. But there's plenty of new research and studies coming out that are debunking the current way of thinking when it comes to food. This is what me, cad, and myth are talking about. The old ways of nutrition really aren't all they're cracked up to be.
But I'm going to let it rest.. I really don't feel like arguing again

we arent talking about Joe and Sally blow over at Bally's
they arent trained to think anything. Its tried and true.
as easy as it is to label them nutritionist, they are just as equally scientists. They do their own research, test out their own methods

that is all great.
But its not changing the fact that a potato will always be a potato. It has been for thousands of years
i understand you are proud of your research, but shite it comes off ignorant sometimes

Well the last twenty days have been break even minus one pound. I am off my pace to reach 175 by the 1st of September, which will be my 55th BD. But I proved 3 times in that period that I could eat what I wanted, gain 5 lbs. and then use induction low carb to drop back down. Now I have to cut out all cheating for a while and get the thin train back on track. Had one guy ask me today where the family went that moved out the arse of my pants. :-)

Memphis BBQ is dry. No sauce. It is on the table. I had pulled pork with just a smudge of sauce. I knew it was Carb loaded.

Guess it's time to add a couple clothes to the wardrobe as only temporary. Also about time to start getting rid of the FAT clothes. Either don't gain it back or go naked everywhere

My two cents. Find what works for you and do it. The wife has had great success on WW, not me. The wife didn't like Atkins, I love it. My Blood pressure is down from 142/93 to 123/79, my knees and shoulders don't ache now (read a study saying some grains in bread and pasta can cause joint inflammation- in some people) and I am down 52 lbs in a little less than 6 months. My energy level is thru the roof compared to pre-diet. I have tried many regimens before and have never had this kind of results, no where near. Just find your way and do it.
