These diet systems change things up every couple of years whether they need it or not. They have to sell more crap.

It sounds like you may have found out why you hate the new system.

A big part of it yes, I still have fundamental issue with the fat penalty.

But again the pros of structure and consistency with the chef outweigh the pissiness for me.

226.4/186.8/140

My diet has taken a backseat the last few days. Got called in to work Wednesday night to the hospital to help with tornado victims, I am a floor nurse but got pulled down to the ER. It was a zoo. Power was out, food was scarce, so I ate what I could get my hands on, which was sandwiches for the most part. Not atkins friendly, but of well. Made it home thursday afternoon, finally got power back today, No damage to me or my family, but several friends lost everything. Worst thing I have ever lived through, I am an emotional eater and trying not to totally give up, but def not beating myself up about it. I will get back on the horse. My gym was the planet fitness off Mcfarland, it is now a pile of rubble...guess I won't be working out much anymore...Anyways, Tuscaloosa could use some prayer if anyone has any to spare. We will never be the same....

God's peace to all the folks that were in the path of that. Storm. I really hope no LSU folks will tell any opposing fans this coming season to go home to their FEMA trailers like numerous Bama fans told my wife and me in Tuscaloosa the season of Katrina. We had my wife's brother and his family who lost everything in Chalmete living with us in BR for 4 months. Those classless comments really hurt at the time.

Every fan base has it's assholes, that's for sure.
I'm less worried about what gets said months down the road and more worried about people going hungry and becoming dehydrated from lack of food/water and DCH running out of medical supplies. Hurt feelings from classless comments suck, but after all this, I think we can handle that.

Best of luck to you roll.. Your diet should come 2nd to a crisis like this. Helping people and helping your area recover from a disaster is much more important. Once life is normal again, pick it back up! We'll always be here.

I wimped out today and only did 6.4 miles instead of ten. Waited until the last second so I didn't have time to get in my full ride before the hoards of mosquitoes descended like a plague.
