I still eat the garlic and mushrooms at boils. Might knock me out of induction but just takes a couple days to get back.

I'm dropping out of induction for a while. Adding red beans back on my menu.

I can't take the chicken any more so I'm taking it off the menu for a while and adding red beans with a small piece of sausage for lunch.

I'm not induction anymore, I am currently allowed 30g of carbs per day, and next week I'm adding 5g more in the form of nuts and probably going to not go any higher than that for fear of losing too slowly for my taste.
Typical day:
3 eggs, 3 strips of low-sodium bacon (I LOVE this bacon, I don't like normal bacon because it's so salty) and a 1/2 cup of milk
string cheese for a snack
meat, cup of salad, and a cup of veggies like broccoli or something
string cheese or pork rinds
meat, cup of salad, and a cup of veggies

if i get hungry or a craving for a snack I hit up more pork rinds, but typically that doesn't happen anymore.

IDK if you know this myth but you don't have to be in induction to lose weight or be in ketosis

226.2/193.8/140

Had a pretty good week, lost 4.7 lbs, promptly went to taco casa for a cheat meal and now I feel like I'm going to vomit.... When will I learn to stop rewarding weight loss with BAD FOOD!!?? Going to hit the gym in the morning, and try to keep up the pace...

I know that but you have a larger weight loss while in Induction which is why I usually bounce in and out of it.

It really isn't hard for me to stay in induction. It is harder for me to behave once I start adding nuts or wasabi peas because those damn things taste too darn good.

Right, but OWL and being out of induction helps you learn how to control your eating habits and eat right rather than just being so restrictive.. long-term I think it's best to move to OWL, pre-main and then maintenance..

but whatever works mayne

Cad

Look up a Huffy Savannah Bike and tell me what the hell size tube I need to buy to replace the flat one. I'll get a patch kit later but I want to replace this sucker while waiting on the kit to arrive.

puts on research cap::

ok 700c wheels. looks like this:

LINK

$3. you can probably pick one up at walmart or target as well for around that price.

also pick up a set of tire levers (about $2 for a set of 3) as they are indispensible for getting the tire on and off the wheel.

knowing how to change a flat is a good skill and it only takes doing it once or twice to get the hang of it.

the key is to use those plastic 'levers' to get the 'bead' of the tire out of the rim..or to work the last little bit in..its always tight.

i would tell you how much its costing me to fix my bike for the race in 2 weeks..but TD would never let me live it down. its ridiculous.

19.5 down, 21.5 more to go! No matter where you eat out, you can get a chicken caesar salad, steak salad, or grilled shrimp salad. (hold the croutons).

Funeral done, no cheats. Yay me!!!!!

I am staying in induction. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I notice that if I start adding too many carbs, I feel more hungry. Me no likee hungry. Hunger increases chance of cheating.

Great job CT.

Well, I've been planning for a few weeks for my birthday cheat today. Now that it's here, I am no longer craving anything.

I figure I'll just eat normal today and save the cheat until I am really craving something. IMHO, allowing yourself to have something at the moment you are really craving it far outweighs a cheat just because it's your birthday.

Ok, got a list here....

Great Job CT.

Happy B-Day Bham!

Thanks Cad.

And Hulk, that is why I stick to Induction. I'll worry about finding the right balance once I'm done.

Having said that I just mowed down 2 cups of beans so I am way out of induction for about the next 10 days while I take a chicken break.

I'd also like to thank the Academy for...oh wait.. slipped out of reality there.
