Lucky bastard! I'm sure those crawdads will be awesome BUT, that means you will retain all that water since them dads are loaded with salt.

So your weight tomorrow will also be skewed by sodium. As you know most of your weight today is water. You didn't eat 4 pounds of pizza. Or did you.

Well, I've procrastinated in every single way possible. Can't put it off any longer. Bike time.

Yeah but you are getting in great shape as long as you survive.

You're a week and a half into it. Give it time. I'm not saying it gets easy, but it gets easier as you get used to it. Trust me, hang with it and you will see results! In week 7 and I can honestly say I look like a totally different person. Hang in there!

Woot. Just 12 tiny easy pounds to go to your goal.

Congrats!

Thanks! Yeah, 12 lbs was a lot easier in the beginning. I have a feeling after I get to 225 I'll be setting a new goal though. I've proved to myself that I CAN do this. For years I thought there was no point and that I couldn't do it if I wanted to. Now, I think differently.

I hate wind.

The ride out was fine with only a little head wind. That damn head wind fooled me into thinking the ride back would be a piece of cake.

I turn around and it felt like gale force winds as I pedaled back.

Needless to say 98 year old men zipped past my arse unaware of any wind, but it killed my arse.

Slow and steady. Can't get in shape overnight after 20 years of inactivity. Especially since I wasn't ever in good shape to start with.

Just got back from walking. A mile in 16 minutes.. Not too shabby for a 346 pound man imo!

And it's such a gorgeous day, I really was happy I got my lazy arse up and went. It felt great getting outside of my 1075 sq ft apartment. Almost didnt stop but I was really winded and my calves were burning something fierce

Well, don't push yourself too hard. As I said up above, it took you a long time to get into your current shape so it is going to take some time to get into good shape.

At least you have youth on your side. You will spring back into shape much quicker than my sorry old arse.

just roll me home..

good food good friends good times tonight. the baseball 'tri-post' earlier was epic..the whole pbp crew was confused for 2 or 3 pages.

myth..i hit 200 after the ride today..so i'm hoping even if i'm up in the am that it will improve after another hard ride.

ps it was worth it. good fixins..otis hooked us up on some of the stuff mixed in with them crawdads..the poached oysters were the BOMB.

Envy is not a big enough word to describe my jealousy. :D

Don't worry about the weigh in tomorrow. You will definitely have some serious sodium water gain eating all those crawdads.

I may hit my dad up for lunch tomorrow. It's been 4 weeks since my last cheat so I'm due. Casa Garcia fajitas are in my near future.

i'm done cheating for the week. i got a hard ride tomorrow..found out my rear brakepad was rubbing and that invalidated my time trial testing..going to redo it tomorrow..and that is tough..u ride at your max endurance until you think you're going to puke..then record the data.

i might even post the results online..who knows
