I think it was Ron White who had the bit about shitting his way into a whole new wardrobe.

Hell I wish I normally took ol' morning glory before I weighed in the morning but I usually dont have to go until I get to work. Then I leave a nice fragrance for the poor bastard that comes in after me

Damn wind is killing me. I checked a flag outside my apartment and it wasn't moving at all so I went about a mile further today on the levee. Turned around and the bitch wind nearly kilt me.
Little kids pulling red wagons were going faster than me. Ugh! I am sooooo out of shape.
Probably took me 3 times longer to get back than it did getting to the turnaround point.

Cad
Since I have zero muscle and the stamina of a dead hamster, should I ride every day or should I take a day off here and there?
My plan is to ride every day and then try to really get some extra distance on Saturdays and then take Sunday off.
Today was about 5 miles which would have been fine without any freaking wind. I was beat to hell and getting the bike up the stairs nearly killed me.

hey all..first a confession...johnny's pizza tonight...i was helpless..oh well at least i knew going in...
re: the bike. right now i'd say spend as much time on the bike as possible. are u sore at all? u will get stronger..and you will build muscle very quickly..especially your quads..by riding as much as possible.
howver..if you're miserable..thats no good. biking should be fun..not a chore. honestly my road bike is such a rocket that i feel embarrassed sometimes to ride it..i feel like its more of a bike than i am a rider..it wants to go faster and climb faster..my crummy little engine isn't powering it the way it wants sometimes.
so..the point is u need to have fun..but at the same time u need to get stronger on the bike to enjoy the riding. so its a bit of a trade off now.
i'd recommend riding 4 out 7 days a week and try to build stamina. then you'll see dramatic improvements..or you'll find yourself spinning harder gears and going faster with less fatigue. that makes it all worth it.
here in tn its the hills..finding yourself flying up a hill that a month ago you could barely pedal up is so dang motivating its unreal.

Don't worry. I have been holding off on my birthday lunch with my dad and my sister. I plan to hit them up within the next week so the scale will be bouncing a bit for me too.

346 still today. It's really slowing down, I want to start my walking routine.. but man I am lazy
Plans are to start it today though after work. I wanna start off extra light so I don't burn out, I was thinking 3x a week, 15 minutes each day and bump it up as I feel or need.

The best way to think about it is 1 week down, another DAY to go. One day at a time my brother, one day at a time.

Hey, don't listen to me. If weekly weigh-ins give you better peace of mind, then do that. Whatever works best for you is the way to go.
Keep up the great work!

Thanks.
I get the feeling once I start exercising it's going to kick back into high gear again for a little while.

good lord dude. you're wasting away. told ya getting out on the bike would add a new dimension to the weight loss. keep it up and you'll be down to 175 before u know it.
i am having a hard time telling..stupid scales only have numbers at 200 and 220..all hashmarks in between..and those are only for even numbers..who the hell designed scales like this??
anyway..rant aside..its looking around 204ish today..but hard to say for sure..about to get a good hard ride in..so hopefully some of that is water from all the sodium in the pizza.
i knew this was going to be a hard week..but good news is i've only had 2 cups of coffee today..plan to keep from eating until the otis2/ole geauxt crawdads-and-double-wides tonight
