MFP database is unparalleled. But ive been experimenting with Fat Secret and it's pretty good, and you can set custom macros.

You can only set macro percentages in free MFP.

My cold is getting better but my appetite isn't really. I wake up hungry, eat breakfast, and basically have had to make myself eat to get my macros in and to not feel like shite. Bizzaro world.
For mother's day, my in-laws had a BBQ and crawfish boil. I ate a couple of slices of sausage but nothing else.. by about 6pm I finally didn't feel full anymore so I had a Lenny and Larry's cookie and a chicken breast. Having an enlightened ice cream bar now.

What pre workout you baws using these days? I've been using Max Effort muscle the past few months but am out and CG's shipping $ is a little crazy
I try to take stuff that isn't pumped full of ingredients that are terrible for me, but I admittedly don't really know what I'm looking at when looking at the ingredient label

I just pop a Monster Ultra Zero or Gfuel. Nothing crazy. I find if I'm squatting or deadlifting heavy with a true PWO my blood pressure spikes through the roof and I almost black out after each set and i fatigue early.

Good morning, y'all. How are you feeling today?
Still basically maintaining over here, but I think things are shifting around a little. I've had more "you've lost more weight!" comments lately. I'll take it.

I hear this is the new craze. There are only personalized inputs, no one else can use your food creations. The basic foods are more accurate.

This interface is fricking awesome.
Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. The UI is great.. Adding custom foods is a bit clunky, though. Can you set custom macros?
eta
yes you can. That is a little clunky, too.. but you can.
eta2
After customizing the page some more, it's actually not hard to hard set your macros.. but it takes a minute to figure that out.

I've hit what I'm going to call the "shut up and listen to ole yeller phase"
I've been bouncing between 241 and 239 for what feels like a month now. But I'm fitting in to entirely new set of clothes, been hearing a ton of weight loss compliments, and today I realized I'm very close to needing a new belt.
Not being able to stay below 240 is annoying as frick... but I'll take this over the number any day

I looked at this while ago, is there a way to set macros by the day for say carb cycling?
Posted on 5/15/17 at 2:14 pm to lsu777
I don't know if you can set them ahead of time, but you can change it every day yes.
From the main page, click on the little gear icon, then check "show full macronutrient breakdown" and in the drop-down change it to fixed targets. Then you should have bars and you can click on them to change your macros.

Have a dumb question and can not seem to find an answer anywhere, but I know someone on here has it.
Should I increase time on Elliptical and bike by a minute a week?
Example: last week 13 min elliptical/25 min stationary
This week go 14/26 or is it pointless and just keep doing the same rate because I am getting above 30 mins cardio a day.
What is a good progression or does there need to be one?

I'd say it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're wanting to build endurance then I don't think it would be a bad idea at all. If you're just trying to burn extra calories, I'd just start incorporating some HIIT into your routines and keep the time the same or lessened a bit. If you just really enjoy the time spent on those machines then go crazy...you do you bro.
