That's gonna take a lot of biking.

My BF had a student bring him a Nothing Bundt Cake cupcake. Lucky bastard.

I usually ride for 25 minutes and elliptical for 12, the MFP ap said it was 198 cals/piece

Had 4 of them and now I am stuffed plus yesterday I missed lunch.

Tonight I doubt I eat much also.

it's nothing compared to Tuscaloosa's pic..but had an amazing moment today. My jeans were getting bigger and bigger until I realized I could slip them on and off without undoing the button... so Today I switched to a pair of jeans I haven't been able to wear for almost 2 years... and honestly they are a bit loose!

This too after crossing the 40

Confession: I don't even know WTF Avatar is about. I just signed up because y'all did. The FB group is sort of unhelpful so far because I don't know what reverse, etc., is for.

OK Avatar is about giving you scientific based macros simialr to IIFYM. It works very well so long as you eat within 10% of macros and 5% of overall calories. Essentially they roughly calculate your TDEE(total calories burned in 24 hours) and adjust based on the information you enter each week.

Reverse dieting is used once you have stalled. When you diet down at a somewhat small 500cal deficit you can lose weight slowly for a long time. But there will come a point where your body adapts and even though you are in a caloric deficit you will not lose any weight. THis is due to your metabolism slowing(Thyroid output) and your body releasing hormones(mainly cortisol) to protect itself as it sees its self wasting away.

Well reverse diet is the fix for that. Essentially you SLOWLY add calories(usually around 100-200 a day) and you this will trick your body into loosing again as it no longer see itself as starving. So it would look something like this

Diet Phase
Week1-2000 cals/day 2 lbs loss
Week2 1900 cals/day 2 lbs loss
Week3 1800 cals/day 1.5 lbs loss
Week4 1700 cals/day 1 lbs loss
week5 1600 cals/day 0.75 lbs loss
week6 1500 cals/day 0.5 lbs loss
week7 1400 cals/day 0 lbs loss
week8 1400 cals/day 0.5 lbs gain

reverse diet
week9-1500 cals/day 0.25 lbs loss
week10-1600 cals/day 0.75 lbs loss
week11-1700 cals/day 1 lbs loss
week12-1800 cals/day 2 lbs loss
week13 1900 cals/day 1 lbs loss
week14 2000 cals.day 0 lbs loss

start diet phase over. Again this is all hypothetical. it won't be linear of course but it gives you an idea of how it looks and what it is.

here is a good read on it.

Great job dude. Look awesome and keep it up. Keep going until you are shredded.

I am poors (teacher) so I just go the MFP app and dealwidit as the cool kids say.

go to here and play around with it. This will give you your macros. Then just go to goals on MFP and plug it in. If you understand when and how to adjust its the same as avatar. If you need help ask.

Teacher Appreciation week this week and I just hammered 4 pieces of thin crust pizza and DGAF because I still can go run or bike the calories off later today.

yea good luck with that. Do you realize how much running that would take?

Thanks a-hole for crushing my one day

Okay back to whatever I was doing

I am still at 386 Cals under 1500 for the day

I doubt I eat tonight anything but a simple lettuce salad.

Yesterday for some reason I skipped lunch, do not know why and I ended up with 900 Cals and the day before I was at 1232 cals.

So it is what it is.

I started a pre-Paleo diet.

I'll be doing a three week Paleo shred challenge starting Monday.

So far, I've gone from 210 to 207 this week.

The links, etc on this board have been very helpful.

for crushing my one day

This thought is what keeps me on track. With keto it takes me a full two days to get back in after I knock myself out, so when I think if something is worth having two days of effort that's essentially wasted, It just never is. I have higher carb days occasionally, where I'm 5-6 net carbs over the 19 that are in my macros, but generally staying under 45-50 will keep me in ketosis, as long as I don't have sustained days of overages.

that being said, I ate bread today. that was 1 gram of net carbs and it actually tasted like bread. I was sort of amazed.
