Wright's, thick cut
It's good. I have it once or twice a week as needed.

Takes a little time in a cast iron. But if you let it go low and slow then drain it on some paper towel for a minute, it's worth it. I flipped it twice.

Well, we scrambled today.

Our team took the long drive title, and tournament title.

Let's just say, the beer flowed like wine.

I don't know. Did you feel like you did something productive with the time you'd have otherwise used to hit the gym?

Nah, you have to think about it as the rest of your life that you're changing. One day didn't get you there, and one day off isn't going to ruin it. If you let that get to you then you'll get overwhelmed. Just assess the day and get right back on it tomorrow.

Down to 183.6. On the scale this morning. 2 lb difference since monday. Losing faster this week since I haven't been able to lift.

194/183/179

I do...skipped my morning workout today by I was just physically exhausted and needed a break from my 5:30 wake up and work out. Still feel guilty. BUT this morning one of my go to work shirts was hanging kinda big on me.... went for one of my used to be go to's that recently got a bit too tight and fits wonderful... so I'm gonna call today a win! Down 17 lbs and hopefully counting!!

Good work baw. Feels good to see real results. I made up my mind I ain't going back to the chubbs. Once I hit the 170s I'm staying there. After my lenten goal is met at 179 I'm setting sites on 172 which is an ideal weight for me.

Great updates, scott & Ryno!

I'm fasting til lunch. Just totally forgot about grabbing anything for breakfast. I'm going to go at lunch & stock up on keto snacks to keep at work, since I'm not supposed to fast :( I'm still a little bitter about that.

Very nice! I have a long way to go... Started at 265 currently at 248... I want to get to even 200. Been frustrated because I been doing two workouts a day and way low calorie counts, but have literally not lost an ounce over the past few days so this shirt victory felt good.

Of you are working out that much the number on the scale won't tell the whole story. You are changing your body composition and turning fat into muscle. If your pants are getting progressively looser you are winning.

I can not express enough.... if anyone is working out alot... DITCH THE FREAKING SCALE. Take a before picture in your underwear. Then take another every 2 weeks and compare. Or measure your waist,chest,arms.... then measure again every few weeks. Numbers on the scale dont mean shite! All they do is discourage you, when you could be losing inches but gaining muscle which is more important anyway.

Question is... Do you want to go around and say "i weigh 200lbs now everybody"
or do you wana walk in and people say "wow you look great, what have you been doing?"

Deep down I know that, but need to keep hearing it and seeing it. It's a tough transition because at the start pounds were flying off daily. I think I'm now at the phase were I think I have to be ok with tougher to measure progress...like I said one of my favorite previously too tight shirts now fits to where I actually feel comfortable wearing it...my pants do feel a bit looser...oh and I don't feel like a weighed down fat load all day.

I'm not gonna traumatize myself like that

Really, not terrible advice. I weigh myself every day because it keeps me more accountable. I wish I'd done measurements before I started.
