for regular menu items, yeah. Sometimes they have sides of the day like cauliflower mash or mustard greens

Where are pork rinds in a store usually? By the chips? Any specific brand y'all usually use?

Did you get 4 hours nearly everyday? Wonder where I'd be if I were to get 4 hours.

No not really, Sunday through Thursday I did come close. Did hour in the morning, about 45 min at lunch, then about two hours at night but Friday I only got 2, Saturday 2 and today 2.5. But I'm counting total exercise time so i include weightlifting time.

And speaking of wings, had some of the best I have ever had tonight. Smoked some on Friday, then threw them under the broiler tonight to crisp them up, they were awesome after tossing lightly in some sauce. Had a slight smiley taste to the meat then crispy on the outside. Just need to find a good extremely low or no calorie sauce recipe. Been using crystal with a little tobasco saurchi sauce, garlic powder and onion powder, it's good but gonna have to pick up some blue oak when I go to Nola in the next couple months.

Got my meal prep Sunday done tonight though with all the meat I smoked, bunch of chicken and pork tenderloin.

Gonna make sure I get at least 3 hours a day this week. That morning walk is crucial.

How do y'all count the calories and macros of something like pan frying a steak in butter? Do you just assume you're eating all of the butter you put into the pan?

153.6/158.4/175

Can someone calm my fears about my bulk so far.

I started my bulk 1 week ago weighing 153.6. I've gained 5 pounds in just one week, but have only ate at +625 over TDEE on workout days and +200 over TDEE on rest days. TDEE is 2300. For workout days the past week it was mainly 2925 calories worth of chicken breast, rice and beans and some veggies, and on rest days it was 2500 calories worth of eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, and peanut butter sandwiches.

I am guessing most of the 5 pound gain is from water weight?

I cook a fine steak, if i say so myself. I have a system where I halve the pit into two parts and put a really hot fire on one side to sear the steaks and then a side with 0 coal so the steaks can get an even cook temp throughout. Each steak came out a perfect medium rare throughout. I didn't get any pics of cooked steak, everyone was starving (including myself) and we plowed through most of it.

SO threw some scalloped potatoes in the oven before leaving for her shower, I sauteed mushrooms DeAngelo's style (I worked in the kitchen there for 9 months and the mushrooms are the main thing I took away. ), and had a big green salad with Chimes' italian dressing and feta cheese.

I also didn't stick to not drinking.. had an envie and a couple of bourbons. House full of guys drinking bourbon and eating steak, it just felt right. But I didn't overdo it.

Nice. I've got my "refeed" meals on Saturday. Going to blue oak for lunch and grilling a nice ribeye for dinner.

The happiness that will ensue on Saturday will get me through the week of grilled chicken and greens.

Haha you sound like me, just thinking about the 2lbs of steak and the half pound of butter I am going to go through will get me through the week.

monitor your weight this week and adjust on the weekly average. Also make sure you are taking measurements around the naval.

remove cals from rest days if needed. Always remove cals from rest day or add cals to workout days when adjusting.

So, now that the new year is back in full swing at home and work, I'm working on cutting out the sugar and getting my eating under control. It was out of control there for awhile.

Changed my myfitnesspal nutrients to track my sugar and set my target for 25g a day. I tracked for the day and will be at 46g. But, all the extra sugar is coming from the creamer I put in my coffee. So, now to bring regular half and half and cut out the fancy flavored creamer - dang it.
