I also buy the multipacks of Aidell's pork/pineapple sausages. They're completely cooked & packaged to go straight into the freezer. A couple of those, defrosted & sliced up, add a protein boost to a basic veggie stir fry or veggie fried rice dish for weeknight dinners.

Mix the pesto with feta cheese and use it to stuff butterflied pork tenderloins.
You can thank me later!!

Costco has 'Starbucks style' egg bites now too. They're good in a pinch.
They sell another version of those which I find to be better:
They also sell these at Whole Foods which are even better:

BRING BACK STARCH YOU SICK frickS! How does Costco decide starch is seasonal? This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Do people not wear fricking pants during the summer?
ETA: I love Costco

Where is brown rice in bag? Can have all the white rice you want but only can buy brown rice cooked and portion controlled. Why?
As much as I love Costco, I do not understand some of the buying habits that the buyers bring in or does not bring in.

Pork Ribs (either BB or St. Louis) - not only are they a great deal but Costco removes the membrane from the ribs which is a HUGE help.

Agree that there are some weird gaps in Costco’s product mix. I keep a Sam’s membership just to buy certain things (Cool Brew coffee, canned condensed milk, bulk nuts) that Costco either doesn’t carry or sells at substantially higher prices than Sam’s.

I've never seen them with membrane removed unless maybe it is ribs that they season and sell. Pretty disappointed in the last few racks I bought from there. Think I'll stick to ordering ribs online.

quote:I don't always understand things they deem as seasonal. My husband likes their instant mashed potatoes. He says they're way better than any other. When I couldn't find them in the store, a sales associate told me they are seasonal. What's seasonal about mashed potatoes?

Also, a friend recommended I try the seaweed snacks, but those are also considered seasonal. By the time the season arrived, I didn't want to try them anymore.

It must vary by location. Both Costco locations in Memphis remove the membrane from all their ribs.

i made this list for another thread but will put here:
top 10 prepared food list. Here’s my go:
10. Shepherds Pie
9. Meat Loaf
8. Chicken Noodle Soup
7. Pesto Salmon
6. Chicken Pot Pie
5. Rotisserie Chicken
4. Sauage and White Wine Pasta
3. Stuffed Bell Peppers
2.Ravioli Lasagna

All of these around $16 and can easily feed a family for 2 days. And take about an hour in the oven and boom, dinner.
