Or just eat it cold like Jesus intended.
Also, who eats just one piece of pizza?

Will there be an app for this?

I use my baking steel in the oven. Crust is crispy and cheese is melted in just a few minutes.
Before that, I used a big cast iron flat pizza skillet thing. Much wider than my cast iron skillets. No water or other steps necessary.

Or you could pop it in the toaster oven on about 275 for a few minutes.

I either eat leftover pizza cold or microwave it. I don't have time to wait for skillets or ovens to warm up

I reheat mine in the skillet but never tried the water method to melt the cheese. The cheese usually gets melty without it but I'll give it a whilrl

It works no better than 8 minutes @ 325 on reheat in my Breville oven, on a sheet of aluminum foil. It's set-it-and-forget it, results are more predictable, and clean-up consists of throwing away the sheet of aluminum foil.

I leave it on the counter, covered, and let it come to room temp. Then I pop it in at 400° and let it go a few minutes.
Good stuff

Here's my method: walk into kitchen and immediately start toaster oven. Got to refrigerator and grab pizza out of the container you've wisely chosen to store your pizza in such that it won't be dehydrated. Tear off a paper towel(paper plate if you're rich) and pop it in the microwave for about 20 seconds( just to get the chill out). By now the toaster oven is hot, place directly on rack and toast for a few minutes.
If it's a hangover breakfast, make 2 pieces, add about 10 more seconds in the microwave, and garnish with a fried egg over easy...
