I think the location is a home run. Hopefully Provisions, whatever that is, is a decent spot that will compliment the other good places in the area. Not sure what the eventual closing of the Perkins Road exit from I-10 will do to traffic there but I'm optimistic.

But, as is the trend, all over the damn place.

That menu definitely sounds tasty, but really random.

The Provisions on Perkins The Concept: The Provisions on Perkins warm hospitality and unpretentious service plays a perfect parallel to its Industrial Chic atmosphere. It’s seasonal menu always offers is fans with new and creative dishes with a stout portion of the menu devoted to the food everyone loves….today’s provisions from relationships with local farms and purveyors. The restaurant can be enjoyed through two distinct dining experiences: the Craft Tavern Bar and Patio, serving appetizers, small plates and bites during lunch, happy hour and late night options and the Polished-Casual Dining Room which offers a full service menu with fixed price tasting menus.

it’s owned by the legacy kitchen and NO hamburger & seafood co people out of New Orleans

Did anyone drive by today and see those awful, ugly metal windows they put on the patio/bar area? I thought they had relocated the 13th gate before they put the sign up on the building. It's so ugly!

So many trendy buzz words and catch phrases, they missed that it should be its not it's.

their whole business model (including a lucrative consulting biz) is catchphrases, buzzwords and paradigms. I’m pretty surprised at their success but i guess that means their food and service is at least good enough

I blame TV for making all of these restaurants so douchey.

You're not kidding. That menu almost reads like satire although if the good is good that's what matters

It looks even worse now that they have the "garage door windows" on. Looks like something out of a terminator/apocalyptic movie. Curious to see if it makes it!

Just had lunch here.

I give it less than a year.

Sorry for no review. I was in the restaurant and leaving didn't have time to do a full right up. None of you fools had been yet and I just wanted to provide an update.

Very limited menu I expected more, but I understand it was just lunch.
Food was overpriced for what it was. $24 lasagna
considering price the quality seemed like food service/Sysco food

They are trying to make the restaurant feel a little more "hip" with a few new pieces inside but it still feels like galatoires. With that being said no room was like the other they didn't really flow together.

Overall:
I think the issue is they are caught between being a fine dining restaurant and a being a hip place for apps/drinks.

I give it a year.

The outer look and the menu and the "about us" remind me of that "cajun" style restaurant in "American Psycho". It seems very pretentious. I bet the owners agree with most of the shite on the Music Board, are "over" Ghost in the Machine, and used to love Sturgill Simpson, but don't anymore because he's (whispers) a liberal.

That being said, if someone treats me, I'll eat there. If I have a choice, I'm going to Beausoleil, Jasmine's, or DiGiulio Bros.

I wish them all the luck in the world. They should just make cheese infused biscuits, name the place "Redd Lobstur", and they'll print money.
