Get the wind guards now if you didn’t order them initially. Otherwise, enjoy. I’d do stir fry first. Simple, fun, good.
Or you could make more pancakes at one time than you’ll ever eat. Breakfast on the griddle is almost obligatory.

go get several big packs of fatty bacon and cook it all, on low heat. best way to season the plancha
plus, you'll have bacon to eat

I bought the 18" adventure a few months ago and it's become my favorite thing to cook on. I wish i'd gone bigger but I'd mainly bought it for use when camping. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do.

I want one but really want the full stainless. Out of stock everywhere.

I have a 36 and a 22. I like them but I don’t use them nearly enough as I thought I would.

I use mine 3-4 times a week and I love it. Veggies, steak, chicken, rice, burgers, it all comes out great.

I got the 17 inch with the fryer/side burner. Love cooking on it. Sort of wish I had gone with the 22 inch, but those didn't have a hood or side burner option. I'm going to build out a spot to leave it on the landing of my deck stairs, and build a cover for it. Still portable enough to take camping with me. I may end up getting a larger one to leave up on the deck and keep the smaller one for camping.

Got mine about a month ago. Can’t really use it during the week with my work schedule but I have used it every Sat and Sun since I got it. Smash burgers are a must. Hash browns better than Waffle House

A necessity but you dont need to break the bank. Get a big cheap metal bowl or use a disposable pan.

One of the main reasons I got the one with the lid. I cook most everything with it open, but when I lay the cheese on the burgers I close it for about a minute and it melts great.

breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes. can cook them all at once on the 36 ".
Got mine to nearly 600 degrees, can put a nice sear on a steak.
burgers are a must.
Ramrod seems to have mastered the fried rice thing on blackstone.
out of the box i seasoned mine with 5 layers of oil and heat. Then cooked pile of bacon. i reseason it from time to time just to keep it in good shape.
get the cleaning tools, big and little scrapers.
after cooking i dump water on the hot griddle , scrape it clean, wipe it dry and add a layer of oil and burn it for a few min.
also, the grease cup that comes with it is almost useless. the will sell you spares but, seems like a waste.
i built my own out of a bucket and a home made bracket. holds a lot more grease/trash and has a handle.

PSA: for my fellow Blackstone owners.
The legs on the 36" (not sure about others) are designed to fold inward. I'm assuming for storage space reasons?
The only thing keeping the legs in the upright position is the bottom shelf which is only secured by a single thumb screw on each end.
If you move your griddle a lot like I do. Tailgating, holiday gatherings etc. These screws can vibrate loose.
In my case one of them backed completely out and as I was pushing the griddle, the damned thing did a nose dive into the ground. Luckily it was cold and clean and no fire present.
I can't imagine the disaster this could have been had the griddle been hot and full of food with a full grease bucket.
Check those thumbscrews regularly.
If you don't plan on folding the legs, I'd suggest securing the bottom shelf a little better.
in my case i added 4 screw/nut/lock washer combos on both end.
