Inside gutted and new walls up. Tearing down the iconic Best Buy sign on the outside. This place is going to totally change the dynamics in the area. Hopefully give a big FU to Dorignacs liquor department. People all over Metry go there too, not like just one side of Causeway.

Just curious as to what is your beef with Dorignacs?

Is wine availability not restricted by the distributors?

I can't wait to go there, but I like the people in Dorignac's wine department.

Dorignacs liquor section was the first of its kind here in a grocery store, it’s family owned and wildly almost impossibly busy
any issue with them is a you problem

Is that the one by lakeside?
I remember quite a few years ago, a guy was on a lift in the warehouse of bestbuy.
Well he hit the sprinkler pipe and flooded the back of the store. Lol.
Still didnt get fired.

To answer all above, anyone who hunts bourbon can tell you they put out the hard to find stuff at secondary prices. example would be the BTAC series that retails for $99, they sell at $499.

assuming you are not exaggerating, what should you care? You have the option not to buy it of course
that is, assuming this have-to-have bottle is available elsewhere

Dorignacs has a great wine selection and great prices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Total wine is legit. I used to go all the time when I lived in Virginia. Pretty much great selection across the board with helpful and knowledgeable staff
Lol and 2 downvotes

I don't buy a lot of wine, but as far as liquor, all you'll get from the staff at Total Wine is them pushing their house brand spirits direct shite like Grangestone Scotch or Chestnut Farms bourbon or Kavanaugh Irish whiskey.

They do it for wine too.
They're only knowledgeable in that they know which brands make the most money. Most do not know much at all about wine.
