Pots and pans?

I want a new set of pots and pans. I don't want to spend a ton but want a quality set that will last. Tell me what to buy.

If in houston, look up a restaurant supply store around you.
You typically buy by the piece, but the price is cheaper and the items are bulletproof.
A set of extremely heavy stainless bowls, 10 in total from a few cups up to a few gallons, run about 70 bucks.
I love their half sheet pans as well.

If you don't want to spend a ton, but want a decent set, Sears WearEver are substantial, have a lifetime warranty and are well priced.

Can anyone here make a recommendation for a good ceramic coated pot/pan set?
The brand hawked by the Dump Dinners lady "as seen on TV" looks appealing, but the reviews are not good for even medium-term durability.

I second ducotes. Their stuff is restaurant quality and will last forever. When it finally does, pitch it because you only spent $25 on a pan.

I have a few nice pans (Staub, Le Creuset, Lodge, etc.) that I will use occasionally. But for "every day" us, I use Teflon pans from Costco. I take care of them, however if they get too scratched up from use, I'll just buy another pan here and there to replace.

I wanted to get the Le Creuset 7 piece set but cannot justify spending $700-$800 on pots and pans. Might just get the Dutch oven and call it a day.

I like to replace a pot bere, a pan there pretty often. And it is easier for me to throw away the old one if there is a scratch on it

I have some really nice pieces as well....... though Restaurant Depot has become my go to place for restaurant quality cookware at terrific prices
