Whatever you end up deciding to buy I would suggest something that automatically backs up to a cloud. Losing class notes is a real pain
re: Who here has had a tonsillectomy as an adult?
Posted by Tami Taylor on 3/29/17 at 10:16 pm to ForeverLSU02
Had mine out at 21. I didn't really have any pain. I ate Sonic chicken the next day and went shopping. The hardest part was like 6-7 days post-op because I think that's when the healing really kicked in. My best advice is don't eat dairy and make a medicine schedule and actually follow it. I would also suggest looking at Pedialyte frozen pops. They will keep you hydrated and taste pretty good.

Check and see who is playing at White Oak/Warehouse Live. They usually have some good weekend shows
re: Great apartments in the Midtown/Montrose/Downtown Houston area?

When I moved back to Houston, I used an apartment locator. They will be able to help you identify other options in that area.

I would check and make sure it's not stollen. I have a 13 inch MacBook Air and love it. No problems at all
re: Houston rodeo trip
Posted by Tami Taylor on 2/3/17 at 4:43 pm to Dan Fratric
Action or chute seats are probably the best for the rodeo and concert but these come with a price. Some tickets allow for dirt access which means that during the concert you can go down right in front of the stage. I usually sit in section 124 for rodeo and the view is great. There really isn't a bad seat for rodeo because the stage spins.
Chairmans level is great because it includes alcohol and food.
The only advice I have for rodeo is wear comfortable shoes and bring cash. If you come in the first weekend, check out the ranch rodeo in NRG Arena. It's local rodeo teams and it is pretty cool.
Also check out the Hideout. It's free with your ticket and features actual country music artists instead of this top 40 pop country.

I would like to add Huynh Resturant to this list. It's the most legit Vietnamese food I've ever had. It's within walking distance from Minute Maid.
re: My iPhone won't show up on iTunes on my surface book...
Posted by Tami Taylor on 1/2/17 at 6:48 pm to Tshiz
I had this problem on my 6+. I plugged it in to my computer then restart my computer and reopened iTunes. If that doesn't work, my next guess would be to keep my iPhone plugged in to the computer and do a hard restart on the iPhone.

HEB brand medium buffalo sauce is some of the best I've ever had.
re: Apple Watch Question

I have a series 1 also and do not have this problem. As long as both your phone and watch on a previously connected wifi they can receive messages and calls. Bluetooth does not necessarily have to be connected
re: College Station Recs

I'm partial to the Wellborn one. My brother use to live down the road so that's the one we went to.
I forgot to say Chuys. The food isn't great but the margaritas are great.

It is and I don't even care. Both are so good. I find it hard to drive through College Station and not stop for Layne's.

We always eat at Fuego right off campus, Layne's on Wellborn Rd. and J Cody's in Bryan. J Cody's cream corn is amazing. Hullabaloo Diner is pretty good too.

Got my dad one. It was about $250 at Best Buy. It doesn't have anything on it that he doesn't need. He is an Android person so he loves that the bookmarks on Chrome sync on his phone and computer.
re: Ecobee3 vs Nest in one story house.
Posted by Tami Taylor on 9/30/16 at 7:56 pm to LSU5508
I have a Nest and love it. It does what I bought it to do. Through my electricity company, I earn money back on my bill when I reduce my energy use during peak times so a smart thermostat was a no brainer. Nest was easy to set up and has worked great. I really think it's a Coke vs Pepsi issue

Agree about Wet Okole. If you have any concerns about fit, call them. Don't guess about fit because you can't return them once purchased.

Last time I went the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Probably won't be going back.
