Dont spend a shite ton a teflon skillet. The $20 one form wal mart will scramble an egg just as good as a $100 piece and the coating will last just the same with proper care.

Correct. SS pot for the long slow wet heat stuff. and cast iron for the quick hard high heat stuff. Also

Magnalite and black iron. Just purchased my first enamel coated black iron. It is easily my new favorite.

i bought the simply calphalon 14 pc collection last year, and i have the 7 qt calphalon contemporary sauteuse pan and its amazing for stews etc. also have a cast iron skillet & dutch oven. the calphalon stuff was great for every day cooking. and i grew up cooking on magnalite.

Cast iron and Calphalon. Pretty jelly of my sis who has a whole set of Le Creuset.

Le Creuset (wedding gift my my aunts) and some old cast iron Dutch ovens and skillets. I use my le Creuset braiser and the 12" cast iron skillet several times a week
