Just got back from Talladega a couple weeks ago - the construction as previously mentioned sucks and the lanes were freaking NARROW over the 6 bridges of construction.

Other than that, we take the I-12, I-59, I-20 route. It's an easy drive - if you're low on gas, stop in Meridian because there is nothing until Tuscaloosa.

One more thing - if you're a High Noon drinker, better stop before you leave Mississippi - ain't one to be found in Alabama along I-20. Walmart in Meridian sells them and it's pretty much the last stop before the state line.
wth is LSU waiting for now? SU is also in finals week! :banghead:
depends on who you asked at DEQ. I worked there on the 11th floor and had friends at DEQ and a lot of times they didn't know about things like that...
Lsu football facebook going live at 11:55... seriously.. what would you do without me??

re: West Lower Seat View

my favorite seats were at the top of the west upper deck - always shade unless an 11:30 AM kickoff, and always a breeze up there. you could see the whole field too. go to the top rows of the lower west and you will have an overhang for the "stiff dew" that occasionally falls from the sky.

this thread should be stickied all season long for the lazy folks that don't just go to lsusports.net

I have Eatel, which is supposed to be able to have online access to WatchESPN/ESPN3 etc. and it never works for me, so I just borrowed a login/password from a friend with Cox. :geauxtigers:
I told my boss I was going to be sick 12/30 around 1pm and she told me I couldn't be sick if she is stuck here at work too. 2pm weekday kickoffs SUCK. It's shitty for fans that have to work for a living. :banghead:
i bought the simply calphalon 14 pc collection last year, and i have the 7 qt calphalon contemporary sauteuse pan and its amazing for stews etc. also have a cast iron skillet & dutch oven. the calphalon stuff was great for every day cooking. and i grew up cooking on magnalite.
why are the big column things (where the elevators are) on the west side like a brick red? lol

Last night Texas was on TLN, ESPN2 and ESPNU all at the same time

that is BS. I mean ok if you want to have the game on ESPN3.com FINE. but make it EASIER for folks to access it. My cable provider is an "affiliated network" but when I log in, OOPS! ESPN doesn't recognize it as an "affiliated network" Also - ESPN3.com needs to be Smart TV friendly - can't use the tv web browser because it doesn't support Flash. Then Samsung doesn't have the Watch ESPN App, so you're still screwed... :banghead:
I'm sure only Hanny would be calling the game at this point. Past Jim's bedtime! Lol
Charlie is great if you want to know what is going on in the game, different rules, stats, and trivia tidbits from past seasons.

Jim is great for the big play.

That being said, because I want to know what's going on when I can't be at the game or watch the game on tv, I prefer Charlie over Jim.

I think a solution for LSU is to let Jim continue calling Football and Basketball and let Charlie handle Baseball full time.

:geauxtigers:
well how bout telling us how to get to justin's bar & grill?

If she's not down for Valentine's Day at the box, she's not worth the trouble IMHO.

Call me crazy, but I would be ecstatic to be taken to Opening Night at The Box on Valentine's Day vs. taken to some fancy restaurant... Just my opinion though. :geauxtigers:
