Post-Baptism breakfast/brunch hor d'oeuvres suggestions

Hoping the FDB can give me some good recommendations on easy to heat or possibly just make ahead hor d'oeuvres for a post-Baptism celebration for my son.
We are in DFW and the ceremony will be at 830am next Saturday, so we figure some breakfast or brunch centered food would be appropriate.
The get together will be about half adults and half kids under 6 and I'd be happy to prepare separate food for each the adults and kids with some overlapping.
We will definitely have a lot of fresh fruit and a cake. No dietary restrictions that I'm trying to accommodate.
My initial thoughts are some quiche options, maybe bacon wrapped something or other, and some sweet baked goods but I'm really open to anything.
Maybe some mini bagels with lox and cream cheese (would this sit well overnight)? Or just go buy a bunch of stuff from la madeleines and call it a day?

Stick with the theme. Make all foods that require dunking in a sauce.

Truffled deviled eggs
Bacon wrapped pickled water melon rinds
Smoked salmon tray
Hog head cheese grits
Just some thoughts….

Grits and grillades. Can make both the day before. Heat grillades in crock pot morning of. Make a cheese grits casserole and then heat in oven as soon as you get home.

Hey now, what's wrong with some smoked salmon and cream cheese?? That's some high dining where I come from.

Breakfast burritos can be made ahead and warmed that day. Not my favorite thing, but very popular in my large family of various ages.
Fresh fruit tossed in fresh lemon juice and a little honey makes a very good dish.
Old fashion sausage balls are hard to beat.

John the Baptist and Jesus were both Jewish.

Ritz cracker then pepperoni slice then dab of pizza sauce then topped with smoked provolone cheese. Heat in oven until cheese melts. (350 for 10 minutes). Enjoy.
