I don't know how you feel, but for the price difference, pork and chicken are hard to beat.
I love a good steak, but the cost of beef (3X and higher)
makes it any easy choice on most days.....

Beef is king.

But sous vide a 2.5" thick pork rib chop to the perfect temp and finish in some piping hot butter on the skillet and tell me that isn't heaven.

Also pork belly rules.

Beef is more filling though, so the cost argument kind a goes out the window.

I've been thinking about getting into sous vide.

BBQ pork is better IMO.

But the best meat on Earth is a perfectly marbled bone-in ribeye cooked to perfection. My mouth is sweating thinking about it.

It's most valuable for pork and chicken, as those are so easy to overcook slightly and turn into sawdust.

My pork chops are fricking perfect every time.

One of the best things to happen to me lately was that Sous Vide Everything and Guga Foods randomly came to me via the YouTube algorithm.

Beef > Pork > Chicken

But it depends on the dish. I'm not huge on pork chops or pork tenderloin, but I think charcuterie, boudin, and bacon are some of the best foods out there.

Even though chicken is ranked last, it is pretty versatile and some chicken items (like chicken salad sandwiches) are my favorite foods.

BBQ pork is usually from the southeast or midwest.

BBQ beef is usually from Texas.

Both are good in their way, but my preference is TX beef BBQ.
