Their dirty rice has never been worth it. I would only get it when I used to go to the Popeyes buffet and would load up an entire place with all the sides

Gas station food in Louisiana, in general, is better than most of the joints near me.

I personally agree with you but it is far from the LA consensus. I also don't know how anyone eats their biscuits and enjoys them. KFC for their many issues makes far superior biscuits and Cracker Barrel is in another dimension.

People are acting like the whole of Louisiana and/or Cajun cuisine is being judged by the quality (or lack thereof) of Popeye's dirty rice.

You need to calm down.

I'm calm. I just stated a fact that Popeye's dirty rice is garbage, got downvoted to hell, then asked how anyone can defend it.

It isn't good. Period.

Y’all can meet up at Sonic and not even have to worry about dirty rice options while y’all fight.

Haha... I was just calling it what they called it on the menu. The only people south of me growing up speak Spanish, not a Yankee.

I used to enjoy popeyes’ dirty rice, but it has gone down hill for a couple of years now. It has reached the point where I just order fries, now so I am not surprised they are discontinuing it.
