Their dirty rice has never been worth it. I would only get it when I used to go to the Popeyes buffet and would load up an entire place with all the sides

I personally agree with you but it is far from the LA consensus. I also don't know how anyone eats their biscuits and enjoys them. KFC for their many issues makes far superior biscuits and Cracker Barrel is in another dimension.
People are acting like the whole of Louisiana and/or Cajun cuisine is being judged by the quality (or lack thereof) of Popeye's dirty rice.
