Would not surprise me if all the Popeyes that are serving the sandwiches are individual owners and are buying on their own and is not the sourced chicken breast required by the corporate office. Only my opinion.
Knowing a little about franchising, it does not make sense for only a few locations having the sandwiches versus everyone now that the sandwiches have been launched nationwide. Corporate offices do not roll out selected locations to sell product after a launch has taken place.

All the stores that were serving it were corporate owned stores here in NOLA and in Memphis. They dont even have it anymore. Probably getting rid of buns on the brink of expiration
