The first time I visited with my family we weren't aware of the cash only thing, so I was going to run back to the house. Lived nearby. He says "you not about to skip town are you?" and told us to stop by and pay later, so that's what we did.

RIP Pokie
Nice service today from the Bishop. The celebration of life speech by one of his daughter-in-laws was spectacular.
Now we are going to Pokie’s to celebrate his life with some good food and drink.

Thanks to Gino and the Boys from Tony’s Seafood, way too much good food and Drinks. Some of the best desserts. Bottles of wine were flowing.
They did it up right to honor Pokie! Very Deserving.
I had to hit two funerals today.
Sid Edwards the Mayor-President, his Sister-In-Laws, Mom, had services today. Good family.

Yes he did. He loved Pokie and Vita too. They let him help make the meatballs. They knew each other from like elementary school.
I met them through him and I would listen to the three of them go after it and it was like watching the best live comedy show ever.
Whip was one of my best friends and now he, Pokie and Vita are getting loud together.
Good memories of eating meatballs. It was like dinner and a show.

People have bragged about the meatball po boys and rightfully so, but his roast beef po boys were awesome too.

He and Tommy Gerald worked for Southern Electric. Tommy’s brother raced of Southern. Mike Gerald is Tommy’s brother. We all rode and raced together in Chipola.
