Where the frick are you people eating? Maybe it’s the establishment you hang out in. Never once have I seen a dog eat off a table or take a shite on the floor. And I’ve seen people bring dogs to outdoor patios all my life-this isn’t some new phenomena.

Yeah that’s some absurdity. I am a huge dog person but if I were to ever see a dog eat food off of another table or shite on the ground in the patio area, I’d be the first to condemn the dog owner. It’s up to the dog owner to know whether or not their dog is capable of being brought in that kind of setting.

You dumb fricks are defending bringing dogs into places where other humans are paying to eat their food. Think about that for a second. And on top it you are comparing it to bring children to restaurants. What a world.

I’m advocating that places allow dogs sit at outdoor seating as permitted by law and approved by private businesses.

Although if you’d like to argue that the government should step in and tell private businesses what they should and should not allow, I’d be interested to hear it.

Wouldn't it be, people are choosing to eat food where they know people bring dogs?

Give me a fricking break. You’ve never had a burger in the park? At a ballgame? At a Street festival where people walk their dogs? If you can’t wrap your head around someone sitting on an OUTSIDE patio drinking a beer and having a sandwich with their dog sitting at their feet than you are one fricking dumbass who lives in a bubble.

The lemon slice on your ice tea glass has more germs and bacteria than the dog.

I don’t know you, but you seem like a difficult person to be around with such innate and unwarranted hatred for dogs.

Lol. I train dogs for myself and for others. I personally own 5 1/2. 3 labs, 2 beagles and 1/2 interest in a Boykin. I love dogs. And I love dining out. The 2 should be exclusive of each other. There is no reason to wag your mutt to a restaurant other than try to garner attention to yourself. Either that or you are homeless.

Can anyone explain what bothers them so much about a well behaved dog quietly laying under the table at a restaurant patio while its owners eat and have drinks? Like what specifically about this bothers you?

You cool with me bringing at cat? How bout a python? He’s harmless and just lays there. Maybe we can bring some hampsters along for our brunch and cocktails.

Dogs don’t belong in a kitchen. They don’t belong where humans are trying to eat. This is/was common knowledge not too long ago. And should be now. What is the point of bringing your dog to eat in public?

No one is arguing that they do.

I grabbed some food from a food truck the other day. Had to throw it out because someone had the audacity to be out walking their dog and they passed right by the food truck.

My dog lays on the kitchen floor every night while me and my wife cook. He also lays next to the table every night while we eat. Do you see something is wrong with this? Do you think it is unsanitary?

People enjoy taking a nice long walk with their dog and stopping at a local place for drinks and appetizers. And guess what? The overwhelming normal people who aren't assholes have no problem with it.

Not all dogs are well behaved, clean and obedient animals. I don't want some random dog sniffing me or licking my leg while I eat. I actually own a dog and like dogs, but there are places where they belong and places they don't.

It also doesn't matter in another person's restaurant. It is their business and their rules. You can choose not to eat there just like you could choose not to eat at my house. Just like you can choose not to tip.

So if I got attacked by a dog as a child and have not liked them since, this makes me a shitty person?
