The fact that there are Louisiana natives in this thread that are answering OG frightens me.

The answer, of course, is Piccadilly.

The real answer is Bone Fish Grill, but

Olive Garden - In the 12 times I have been to OG in my life, I have never had a meal I would consider good. Bagged salad with store bought Italian dressing, bland soups, and overall horrible entrees (And I've gotten something different each trip).

Piccadilly - Everything on their menu I can make bigger and better. However, when I go there (which is usually never) I can find something I like and will enjoy.

Piccadilly is a culinary embarassment... I hate the whole setup.

so Olive Garden trumps, even though its a trash fest.

Their salad and bread sticks are pretty solid.

LSUzombie -

Let me get this straight. You have been to olive garden a dozen times and it always sucks, but you almost never go to a place that you find much better. Do I have it right?

Two problems I have with Olive Garden:

1) Olives grow on trees, so it should be Olive Grove, not Garden. Dumbasses.
B) Neck works there, so going there would increase the chances of an unfortunate IRL encounter.

The problem is my fiancée loves Olive Garden. On rare occassions, I get tricked into going. The only reason I go is because I know she likes it.

As for Piccadilly, I Just never go because I have no urge to eat there. None of their food entices me, however it is better than the slop they serve at OG

I really don't carr for either place. But if I had to choose to eat at one right now, it would be Piccadilly

Even if the food were good, this would be enough of a reason to never go.

Piccadilly has really good fried chicken and Italian cream cake. And who can resist roast beef slices carved fresh from the giant chunk of meat?

Also, their crawfish etoufee is pretty good.

I concur on the fried chicken, and their etouffee is good at times, but they're extremely inconsistent with it.

I remember the good ole days at Picc when they used Louisiana crawfish and the etouffee was always good.

That was probably when they still had fried CATFISH instead of fried "?" fish.

Their tartar sauce still rocks though.

I feel this way. I haven't been to Piccadilly since I was maybe 8 years old. I never go because A. I'm NEVER near one.
B. When I'm not making food at home, I want something awesome.. not just ok.
