Im looking for some really good restaurants in Pensacola to take my wife to when we go down there in a week. What do y’all recommend?

The Pensacola fine dining scene is severely lacking

This. And if they have swordfish on their daily market menu, get it

Agreed. The Grouper Piccata is excellent too.

McGuire's downtown if you like English pub fare. Really good food, and a very laid back atmosphere.

Oar House on S Pace Blvd where it dead ends into the bay has good seafood and lots of seating overlooking the bay and boat docks. Beautiful sunsets.

Joe Patti's will steam seafood for you if you want fresh seafood to take back to where you are staying, or you can eat at their restaurant almost next door.

Nick's Boathouse is another suggestion. Good food also, and sits right on the Gulf.

LINKJackson’s steakhouse in old downtown. Great food and wine. Nice atmosphere. Upscale.

Jackson's in downtown

You can shite on me, but I thought Flounder's was good. My expectations were low and I was surprised but it is touristy.

Check out George's. It's nice and has excellent food. Plus it's away from the Pensacola strip.

Went to the Grand Marlin last week. Had the lobster finger app, wedge salad and grouper piccata. It was all very good and the service was outstanding. They have a nice bar area also. You can make a reservation on Open Table but it books up a few days in advance. I would recommend this restaurant.

Yep we also had this. So good.

Also, The table next to ours ordered a bloody Mary that looked like a meal by itself

Only visited Pensacola for a day several years ago but enjoyed sitting outside at Jaco's Bayfront Grill.
