Read a thread a few days ago regarding a new Stabiler place on Jefferson. Well, I drove past today and saw the sign for 'Pat's Seafood'. I'm wondering if this is Pat's of Henderson/LC, or a totally different Pat's?

This sounds disappointing.

Stabilier's seafood place on Siegen is and always has been the most overpriced boiled seafood place in the area. Sure this won't be different.

I always liked going to Pats in Henderson, because it felt like you were in a different world when you got there, with the lighthouse and everything... Just wouldn't expect all that to be there, out in the middle of nowhere.

Unfortunately, the food often left much to be desired.

What in the world are you talking about? Stabiler doesn't have a seafood place on Siegen. Why would you type something you have zero knowledge of?

I think he was referring to the one on Perkins, near Siegen.

It hasn't been open in over a year, maybe two. But then you or he neither one knew that. Sad sheep who just repeat what they think this website wants to hear

I love Pat's for the same reasons. Also live the crawfish bisque. There are plenty of things on the menu that are good. Fried seafood is fine, for example. It's not the best in the land, but I enjoy the atmosphere and food I order. I always take frozen bisque to go.

Where did I ever say it was still open? Dude, you seriously need to go back under whatever rock you crawled out from under.

I usually get one of the "camp-style" dishes or a seafood platter. Haven't been in 5 or so years, though. I'm looking forward to seeing what this new place has to offer.

I wish them well but I don't know if they will be successful there. The location is not great. I don't know what will separate it apart from all of the other restaurants in town.

I think a different one only because I saw a facebook friend signing the papers of ownership.

If the crawfish bisque is like the one in Henderson, I will be a patron. That and a fried soft shell crab will take care of me.

Remember what I said about typing stupid things? You should just think them and not type them. That way we can only think you are a dumbass and it's not confirmed.

Stabiler bought the old City National Bank building next door to the Backpacker and across the street from Calvin's. NOT the old Las Palmas building.

If you want to participate try to keep up.

You're welcome.

Gordon McKernans new law office.

Three stories, about 20,000 sf with a big arse G on the I-10 side. He has over 60 employees right now.
