I'd never turn down either of these at the end of the day. However, I'd choose pancakes 99.99 percent of the time! What say you?

I need to get a new waffle iron.

I think I’m probably 50/50, too. I can’t pick one over the other. Especially if blueberry syrup is involved.

A good French Toast beats the hell out of both, any day of the week.

Pancake with a fried egg in the middle.

Or pancake with thick cut bacon strip cooked inside it

Historically I use the box method for making both items, not a fan but easy. Anyone have a recipe for either or both that is not from a box that you really like?

I have been thinking of upgrading my waffle maker to a commercial grade.

Pancakes are good but there’s nothing like a couple of waffles at Waffle House at 2 an after a night of alcohol

Waffles have all the goodness of pancakes with a syrup trap.

Don't eat either too often, but I prefer the "thinness" of pancakes. Easier to eat, I guess...

Used to prefer waffles, but have come around on pancakes. I never disliked pancakes, just preferred waffles. Now I prefer homemade buttermilk pancakes. If I'm doing from a boxed mix, I'll do waffles. I like big, fluffy pancakes, not the flat ones the boxed mixes yield.
