Those freestyle machines collect data on what people are choosing. Me thinks enough folks got orange vanilla from a freestyle machine that Coke thought it would be profitable to make it available separately.

You can get any flavor from a Freestyle except regular coke. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't have a good pallette.

What? That’s crazy. I’ve never tried to get regular Coke from there but I get regular old Diet Coke from there all the time.

Orange Coke has been a “thing” over in japan for awhile.
They tested Orange Vanilla in Canda, and Coke Zero Orange in AU, first before finally launching it in the States.
They were going for an orange dreamcicle-type taste with this one to “bring up memories of summer”.
