True but I definitely don't want to.

I don't care much about those places. Not a critique, just not my thing as much.

That's fair.

If it's my dime, it'll be sushi probably.

Pizza place. I can cook anything else.

Good pizza requires specialized equipment.

It would need to have good variety and better than average food. Maybe a place like Houston's.

Played this game last night with family gathering. Nephew who is a swimmer and eats like a horse said Golden Corral. So he got it half way there.

The first thing that popped in my head was Texas de Brazil, but this is a great answer as well.

It's got a menu the size of the Bible. It's decent.

This gets 8 downvotes and Hooters gets more upvotes...

I'll be damned. Someone explain the hate for Texas de Brazil..? Every time I have been, I have left with a smile on my face from ear to ear. The salad bar is insane also.

Chimes.

Big variety, everything is above average, has a great rotating tap list and a full bar that is very well stocked.

Baton Rouge would have been the original Village.

New Orleans would be Clancy’s.

Niki's West - since living near B'ham, even w/less than desirable location.

Best cafeteria in town, probably 10-12 meats/fish to chose from and over 3 dozen vegetables that vary a bit from day to day. Separate seafood and steak menus. They do good Greek/Mediterranean influenced dishes.
