Staying in NOLA Friday night before the Bama game. Coming in for our rivalry tour. LINK We made reservations at Oceana just to lock a place down. Are we good here or try something else? Not looking to get dressed up. Just a solid dinner then catch some music and good drinks. Any suggestions are welcome.

One dinner in NOLA? Don't waste it. Go to Mr. B's or the Pelican Club. They are nearby and much better.

One of the single worst tourist shitholes in Nola.

Make ressies at Peche or Cochon.

Trust me. Y'all will be great at either. Great, world class restaurants in casual settings.

Walk the warehouse district down Tchoup and have a drink or two.

Take an Uber to the other side of the Quarter to the Marigny and get live music on Frenchmen.

Follow this plan. You'll thank me.

I wasnt trying to be a dick, but Oceana has apparently enlisted Clinton's PR team to present itself as some NOLA destination. Avoid. You deserve better.

No worries. Moved Mr B's, Borgne and K-Paul to the top of the list. I'll give a call tomorrow and see what we can do. Appreciate the guidance.

Peche is a casual seafood restaurant. Not the typical fried seafood restaurant. Great food.
