Old Kadair’s on Florida Blvd - Tony’s possibly incoming?

The old Kadair’s across from Podnuh’s on Florida has had quite a large amount of work being done on the building. New windows, doors, trim, 3 large A/C units and what looks like an industrial hood set up.
I verified via SOS and EBR tax assessor that the property is owned by the Pizzolatos. I am willing to bet we are going to get an announcement soon about a Tony’s satellite location or some other restaurant like Crispy Catch.
It’s been rumored for years but the work on the building has been on an uptick in recent months. I wonder if the pandemic has caused a drop in business off of Plank. They have been making folks wait in line outside which isn’t ideal.

Nah, ain’t gonna be Tony. The family is split and pursuing other businesses now. I’d bet it’s a brother opening a Tony knock off.

Anthony P is the listed owner of the LLC. Curious to see how this plays out if it is a family offshoot.

Negative, it will probably be someplace flashy or clickish and rolls of fun

Ive been going out there since this shite began and I’ve never waited outside and it’s business and busy as usual.

Asian Market on Sherwood at Fla is gonna do a Seafood Restaurant in the closed gym location on the corner.
Does Tyler P still have a Crispy Catch in the Mall of La?
I still trek to Tony's every other week, and sometimes Krispy Kreme. Tony's is biz as usual, but KK's initial return crush has lulled from insane lines to solid yet functional.

You sure it’s not just busy and the line is out the door? Every time I’ve gone it was packed and I walked right in. Never had to wait outside.

I go to Tony's pretty often and its always crowded and never had to wait outside. I don't think Tony's business will ever drop off. They have too much to offer and they are very good at what they do. I drive way out of my way to go to Tony's as opposed to a much closer seafood market. They are the best. Period.

Just drove by the site and they have installed a concrete lane in the back to allow for drivers to exit the parking lot back onto the residential street.
Still no signage but work has been fairly steady.
