Heading to the beach this weekend and wanted to see what stores had the best selection of beers in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores? I always go to Publix, where they have your standard Trimtab, etc. but wanted to see if there were any places that had a good selection of craft beers that aren't available in NOLA.
TIA
TIA

Seriously, on the way through Gulfport stop and pick up a case of this.
GOAT beach beer.
Stop at Blalocks for some steamed shrimp once you're over there though.

The Rouse's in GS has the best selection I've found, but I haven't really scoured the area for other places. It is better than Publix, but not as good as a true craft beer store.

Last time I was in that area, I was actually rather impressed with the Florabama liquor store's beer selection. Prices were pretty good as well.
The Publix selection does suck.

Try to google liquour and package stores in the area you are staying. Most of the time there will be a review or pictures that give you an idea of what craft beer they carry.
Don't know if you are open to stopping in Mobile on the way but Cottage Hill Package Store is suggested a lot and looks to have a great selection.

CBC has been pretty good. I did get to try their IPA Osiris, which was good. Not a world beater, but a solid attempt.

I hadn't considered (or totally forgot) that Florabama had a package liquor store. I'll check it out

Since it's technically in Florida, it will have a few things that won't be distributed to all the other stores that are in Alabama.

Maggie's Bottle and Tail is the best I've found if you're looking for different craft stuff. It's a small store, but they usually have a good selection. They do growler fills to.

Just stop at Cottage Hill Package store in Mobile on the way in. Sure, it's 10 minutes off the interstate, but you can get everything you want there and won't have to go chasing beer at 3 different places in Orange Beach.

If you're over there and not buying seafood from Blalocks...you're fricking up. Medium shrimp steamed and seasoned...

As mentioned that Rouses coming into town is pretty good. But I just load up on Jai Alai anyways.

Stop at Cottage Hill in West Mobile

Rouses will have the largest selection, Maggies has the most unique craft beers and FloraBama will be the cheapest because Alabama booze prices are astronomical and ridiculous. They just went up another 4%. Buy hard liquor before you get into Alabama or head to Florida.
